The Space:

Conveniently located just a short stroll or bike ride to the Commons Pool and Sun Ridge Recreation Center, this one-level four-bedroom vacation rental features lots of living space - all on a single level. With great spaces inside and out, including a screened porch and patio, this resort getaway features a living and dining area, open well-equipped kitchen, and four bedrooms, including the main suite. In-home amenities include central air-conditioning and a washer/dryer. 4 TVs (all new for 2019), HBO & Showtime, 2 DVDs, 2 Blu-rays, XBox, iPod docking station, books, Keurig, gas grill, gas fireplace, WiFi. Plus, beach chairs (courtesy items not guaranteed). Bayside Resort is home to a facility with a heated 75-foot, five-lane indoor pool, hot tub, multi-purpose/aerobics room, locker rooms with saunas, and fitness areas with state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment! This waterfront golf resort community offers a quiet escape just minutes to the beach with exceptional accommodations and fantastic amenities. These include a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, two outdoor pools, a kids' splash zone, on-site snack and tropical bars, and a fitness center with outdoor tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball courts. There are also stocked ponds, a community pier, seasonal kayaking, and nature trails with observation towers. The Freeman Stage at Bayside hosts a full slate of summer entertainment, including live dancing, music, and children's programming. Bayside Resort charges an optional per-person fee for guests five and older for the use of the community's amenities, including the pools, tennis court, and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year. The local team will reach out to you before your arrival to arrange for this payment. Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within ten days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Amazing vacation

This house was just as described. We had a wonderful stay. Our party of 10 was very comfortable in this spacious house. There were even 7 bikes available for us to ride in the community. The amenities were numerous and everything was beautiful and immaculately maintained. We plan to return.

The house meets all of our needs this is why we decided to rent a 2nd year. The rooms are large. The bedding arrangement is perfect for our family; 6 adults and 3 children.

House was perfect for our family vacation

The house fulfilled all our requirements. The house was comfortable and super clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The screened in patio was perfect for sitting out at night. The rooms are large with plenty of room for our 9 members of our family. There were many bicycles of various sizes and scooters for use. I cannot think of one thing this house didn't deliver for our needs. Bayside resort is fabulous. Several pools, kayaks and crabbing at the point. We were so happy with this property, we already booked next year.

Our week at the beach

Everything was quite good. One exception: the pool and the kayaking/paddleboarding was only available for half days this past week due to lack of staffing. Twice we went to the pool at 6pm, only to be told the pool was closed. Per the reservation, the pools and Kayaks should have been available until 7pm each day. The Kayak/SUP station at The Pointe closed daily at 12:15pm because much of the summer staff had returned to college. So we feel we were overcharged for the recreation services based on limited availability.

Thank you for taking the time to review your August stay. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We do apologize for the community amenity issues. This is a common issue that occurs later in August when many of the lifeguards return to college. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over the community amenities or the fees charged. We will certainly pass along your feedback to the community managers. .
