Situated at the point of a short peninsula road, this dog-friendly retreat features a private dock that can fit up to four different watercraft with no tide restrictions on access. Make some friends on the water? Invite them over for a barbecue on your furnished deck while boats sail out for sunset and osprey dive for their dinner. And do more than watching the water: swim off the dock or go for an adventure paddle up the seven-mile Bass River. Grab your fishing rods and cast off from the dock. Enjoy the beauty of the river estuary in every part of the day. The rental features a full kitchen and living room space and magnificent views from your living room chair or your deck chair. What's nearby: Less than one mile from your front door is West Dennis Beach, a premier stretch of smooth sand and dune on Nantucket Sound. The beach is renowned as the best spot for on the Cape for kite flying and windsurfing. A less than one-mile walk also takes you to West Dennis village with its local restaurants, local stores, shops, and bars, including Sundancers and O'Shea's Olde Inne Irish pub. Just because it happened to be raining during our entire stay, we had to stay inside and watching TV became a thing. The TV is relatively small. It would be a little better if the TV were a bit larger. But who needs a TV when the water views are just stunning?
