Top Lage

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, der Ausblick auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Ein paar Einschränkungen gibt es allerdings noch. Der Flur ist sehr eng und sowohl Bad als auch WC haben kein Fenster, man muss also immer die Türen offen stehen lassen, um die Feuchtigkeit aus dem Bad zu lassen, dann kann man aber nicht durch den Flur gehen, weil die Türen im Weg sind. Was nicht so schön war, dass bei der Auswahl kostenloser Parkplatz angegeben wird. Ich bin bei der Buchung von einem festen Parkplatz ausgegangen, der zur Wohnung gehört. (so hatten wir es vor 2 Jahren bei einem anderen Vermieter auch) Zur Begrüßung bekam man allerdings nur eine Liste mit Nebenstraßen in die Hand, wo man frei parken kann. D.h., nach jedem Ausflug und Einkauft musste man sich einen neuen Platz suchen, denn direkt vorne an der Promenade sind alles nur Bezahlplätze. Ausserdem hat mir in der Wohnung eine kleine Infomappe des Anbieters gefehlt, mit Empfehlungen, wichtigen Nummern und z.B. einer Hausordnung, wenn diese existiert. Stattdessen hat man uns einen kaum lesbaren Zettel unser der Tür durchgeschoben (wir waren zuhause, man hätte mit uns sprechen können). Nach langem Hin- und Herübersetzen haben wir rausbekommen, dass es wohl nicht erwünscht ist, die Sachen auf dem Balkon zu trocknen. Ganz toll, wenn man mit 4 Personen und nassen Sachen vom Strand kommt. Naja, der Rest war sehr schön, wir haben den Strand trotzdem genossen und kommen gerne wieder nach Ostende.

Urlaub zum Entschleunigen

Die direkte Nähe zum Meer, die langen Strandzonen, gutes Wetter und wenig Urlauber, da Vorsaison, haben uns zum totalen Entspannen eingeladen. Ein übriges hat die qualitativ gute Ferienwohnung mit der guten Einrichtung dazu beigetragen.
