From the lanai, a covered breezeway leads to a private wing of the home. This section includes two bedrooms and a bathroom, all fully climate-controlled for year-round comfort. Please note: While the adjacent enclosed porch features vinyl-paneled windows to capture the natural coastal breeze, this specific seating area is not climate-controlled. The bright, single-level interior boasts a fully renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a Nespresso machine, and a dedicated countertop ice maker for your beach coolers. After a day in the surf, rinse off in the outdoor shower, gather for alfresco dining on the fenced patio, then soak in the private hot tub or enjoy starlight conversation around the fire pit. Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. When we arrived we discovered that the heat pump was frozen solid. I notified Vacasa immediately. They sent a service rep immediately and he deemed the property unfit. We were immediately transferred to another property. Don bent over backwards to help move us after we already unpacked.It was very difficult getting any response from the owner after reaching out about access code to enter as well as notifying about the heat pump.

Springtime at the beach

The house is spacious, gracious, and welcoming. Well-equipped big kitchen made meals a breeze, and we loved how the separate living and conversation areas gave us space to be together or have quiet time apart. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms let us rest and relax. Short walk to the beach, and the extra beach chairs and bikes were great.

Beautiful place close to the beach and restaurants. Very well maintained .Hot tub and Landscaping around the house made it even more relaxing. Layout of the house and sunroom was perfect for our needs. Due to hurricanes in the Atlantic this week , the beach and high surf was difficult to enjoy although we did manage to get a beach walk in . My wife and dog really enjoyed your wonderful home. In addition we forgot our laptop and housekeeping at Vacasa located it and shipped it to us! Great customer service. Highly recommended and we will love to rent again in the future. Thank you for being pet friendly.

Nursing School Survivors

After a graduating from a rigorous nursing program several of my classmates needed a little rest, relaxation and celebration. This house provided ALL of that. It is perfectly located super easy walk to the beach and into town. As a bunch of girls we appreciated how adorable the home was decorated and how perfect the set up was for all of us. The home is more than well equiped with all the beach necessities we could not have been happier. We have decided to make it a early tradition and book again next year!

Dewey Sweet 16 weekend

I rented this for my daughter’s 16th birthday. We were able to comfortably fit her and her friends. They could walk to the beach and downtown Dewey. The house was clean and well equipped for our group. Had a great weekend. The hot tub didn’t have water which was a bummer.
