Experience the serene vacation off the grid you've always wanted at KenMa cabin. This oceanfront cottage is all about peace and quiet, the kind that comes from sitting on a deck overlooking the water and reading a book or walking along rocks smoothed by the sea. A place where time is only measured by the tides, lobster boats coming in from the haul, or the sun sinking behind the spikey pines across the water.
Kendrick Marshall (or KenMa, for short) ran the Port Clyde General Store in the early 1900s and was a descendant of the owner of Marshall Point Lighthouse, just 2 miles away. His ancestors still own the cabin, which is a great spot for a dog with quiet walks through the woods or down the road to Port Clyde village.
The cabin includes an eat-in kitchen with an electric stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser and coffee maker. The living room has a stone fireplace for cooler days, and a small bathroom and cozy bedroom are tucked in the back. The covered deck is just feet from the shore and overlooks the many islands of Muscongus Bay. In the mornings, lobster boats work nearby; in the afternoons, sailboats and kayaks glide by. Great books, good conversation, strolls along the shore, and walks to the village replace the need for electronics.

This property is beautiful situated right on the ocean. Many bedrooms and beautiful living areas make for a very comfortable stay. The huge barn is architecturally stunning with many amenities. Definitely an excellent property near Bath Maine.

You will want to come back!
This place is amazing! Even though the house is big, it feels very warm and welcoming. There is a sense of peace that envelops you the minute you walk in! The rooms are all a good size with a balcony that opens up to beautiful ocean views. Nothing like sleeping with the soothing sound of the waves in the background!
The house has many amenities onsite and you can easily spend all your time relaxing and enjoying what's offered. However, there are many attractions within walking and/or driving distance if you prefer to venture out.
My family and I spend four fantastic days and, honestly, did not want to leave such a wonderful place! We are already looking forward to returning!
Great house with wonderful views.Few problems1-no power cable for treadmill.I bought one.2-TV- old, not smart. No instructions. Never got it to work.3/MBR shades, no way to open, no instructions4-chairs instable, i tightened with allen wrench5-towel bar fell of in my hand.
The house and location was beautiful! The house was very clean. It was ideal for a large family group. We saw whales, seals, and eagles from the deck. However we were disappointed with the property host Vacasa. The blinds in the MBR did not open which was a shame because it was a spectacular view. A bathroom that was shared by 3 bedrooms had issues with a shower handle. We had to use vice grips to turn it on and off. We notified Vacasa and when they didn’t show up to fix it the first day I reached out and there were several emergencies that day. I never heard from them the rest of the week. The main part of the house is not AC however the screens to the doors were destroyed and you couldn’t leave the doors open because of the mosquitos. We feel these items should have been in working order considering the price of the rental
