About this property
Secluded lakefront home with patio & firepit, fast WiFi, wood stove & W/D
A secluded, waterfront getaway awaits in this all-season ranch home, tucked into the trees and surrounded by water. The wooded 3.4-acre property is set on Upper Patten Pond (a smaller, and quieter, private lake where you can catch perch or pickerel), and within 15 minutes of Ellsworth with shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and kayak rentals. There are also two kayaks included with your home. Enjoy easy access to state forests and parks, Bar Harbor (40 minutes), and the entrance to Acadia National Park is a 35-minute drive away.
Closer to home, the shady, private patio in the backyard is the perfect place to sip morning coffee, and the firepit awaits for an evening spent roasting marshmallows and trading stories about the day. There's a pair of loons that will serenade you in the evening, and you might also spot eagles and other wildlife during your stay.
Take in unobstructed water views from every window inside the homey living space, detailed with sweet country touches throughout. Hardwood floors, a wood stove, and comfortable furnishings help create a warm, cozy feeling no matter the time of year. The well-equipped kitchen features all the appliances, counter space, and gadgets you'll need to whip up a feast, and the group can dine together at the window-front table or pull up a barstool at the kitchen island to keep it casual. Spend the evenings gathered in front of the wood stove while you stream your favorite shows or use the in-home, high-speed WiFi to upload the day's pics to social media. Relax with some music courtesy of the sound system with speakers in every room or, if you've got any remote work to do, a sweet roll-top desk offers the perfect perch. Three comfortable bedrooms await at the end of your first – and every – perfect vacation day.
WHAT'S NEARBY This home is centrally located between both Acadia National Park and the picturesque Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle - home to artist colonies, the photogenic 18th-century town of Castine, the working fishing village of Stonington, and Brooksville, (the inspiration for the award-winning children's book by Robert McCloskey, One Morning in Maine). Visit the quaint village of Blue Hill with shops and galleries that showcase the best of the peninsula's artists and artisans, which pepper the Blue Hill Peninsula. You're also 2.5 miles from Toddy Pond, an eight-mile lake - perfect for exploring one of the region's most popular bodies of water for boating or fishing.

Perfect vacation spot
This house exceeded our expectations. It was just a great place to rest, but also set out for Acadia National Park. We were a group of friends looking for a week retreat and everyone was so happy with their experience.
A beautiful home! We woke up to amazing sunrises, loons, and we even had an eagle one morning. The house has all the amenities for the perfect stay. It is so spacious and bright! We loved all the windows. The perfect distance to Bar Harbor and all things to do there.

Great lakehouse!
This was a great stay. The house was clean, had what we needed, and was close to town (Ellsworth) and a 45-minute drive into Acadia without the headache of traffic if you stay on MDI. We would recommend!
Beautiful house sitting on a secluded lake, very peaceful surroundings. Short drive to Bar Harbor , and downtown Ellsworth. Would definitely recommend this property!
All wonderful with responsive property management when things came up

This was the perfect base camp for my family. Easy access to Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Acadia and the Schoodic peninsula. After a day of adventures we loved coming back to the quiet and secluded home with wonderful lake views. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

Awesome Summer Vacation
Our family had a delightful family vacation at this beautiful property in early August. My son fished every day. We enjoyed the firepit, the grounds, the surrounding town, restaurants, and Acadia National Park.
Property was spot on with discription, nice fire pit for camp fire at night, 3 kayaks for use on the lake. We caught lots of fish, bass, pike, and blugills. Property was very clean and secluded.
We enjoyed the swing, fire pit, kayaks, and playing board games together. Kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of linens. Very clean and in a beautiful setting. Would definitely stay again.

The property is really nice and well maintained.
Check-in process and all the supplies were in place for a comfortable stay.
The 2 back doors which open onto the patio had issues with locks. Other than that we had a great time !
