Our detached holiday home, Strandgut Reethus, in the Baltic Sea resort of Glowe is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and is about a 12-minute walk from the beautiful, kilometer-long sandy beach in Glowe on Rügen. The tastefully furnished Strandgut Reethus holiday home is approximately 115 square metres in size and can accommodate up to 8 people (ideal for four adults and four children). The holiday home features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sauna. The living room is furnished with white wooden furniture and a cosy sofa area. A wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.<br><br>The high-quality open-concept kitchen with an adjoining large dining area leaves nothing to be desired. The two wooden decks, the balcony, and the garden—which completely surrounds the house—are perfect for soaking up the sun on a teak lounger in the summer or for enjoying the surrounding natural landscape with friends over a meal. On the west-facing balcony on the upper floor, you can still enjoy the evening sun even when the terraces in the holiday home community are already in the shade. The large garden grill fireplace makes a barbecue evening a special experience.<br><br>The wooden-slatted windows and patio/balcony doors are fitted with insect screens. All windows and patio doors on the ground floor are equipped with electric roller shutters.<br>The flooring consists throughout of oak plank parquet and large stone tiles. Underfloor heating ensures a pleasant warmth in all rooms. The area where the holiday home is located borders a nature reserve and is just a few kilometres from Jasmund National Park.<br><br>All other natural wonders, sights, and attractions on the island of Rügen, as well as the Hanseatic city of Stralsund with its famous old town, are easily accessible from Glowe.
