The retreat sits on the Bush River, an inlet of the Chesapeake Bay, in a quiet, friendly suburban neighborhood. Guests have full, private access to the lower level apartment with its own entrance.

Booked this property as a last minute, overnight getaway for myself and it was fantastic! The apartment, grounds and hot tub was squeaky clean. Kitchen was clean and stocked with utensils and even had a coffee bar, different tea packets and a snack basket. Bathroom was fully stocked with towels, basic toiletries and everything I needed. Bed was comfortable and closets had extra blankets if needed. Inside and outside patio furniture was comfy. I loved watching the sunset from the hot tub! Also loved that they had a yard swing, fire table, game room, and kayaks for use, although I didn’t get to use it all (this time). I can tell the host put a lot of thought into making this place super accommodating and I feel they truly thought of everything! Overall it was a lovely experience, host was very warm and accommodating, the view of the sunset is amazing and I give it 5 stars! Will absolutely be renting from them again!
