Our new, lovingly renovated 65 m² holiday apartment, “Louise,” is situated in an idyllic, quiet yet central location on the sunny island of Rügen, offering a stunning view of the “Kubitzer Bodden” National Park. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from our solid-wood balcony or from the beach chair on the spacious terrace, or watch the breathtaking migration of the cranes in the spring and fall.
This cosy 3-room apartment is ideal for couples and small families (up to 4 people), who can explore the island from this central location. Your four-legged friend is also welcome.
The Kubitzer Bodden is also a very popular destination for fishing enthusiasts, hikers, and cyclists.
“Louise” is located on the upper floor of our holiday home, completed in 2022, and is accessible via a custom-built solid-wood staircase. Here you’ll also find the south-facing balcony with a view of the beautiful Bodden landscape.
From the bright, spacious living area—featuring a cosy dining area and a fully equipped modern kitchen—you can access the two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and the bright, stylish bathroom with a spacious, floor-level tiled shower.
All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating.
Outside, you’ll find a private parking space. A spacious terrace with upholstered patio furniture, a beach chair, and a large dining table is perfect for a cosy evening of grilling. A grill is available for your use free of charge.
Alternatively, our comfortable upholstered furniture in the open living area invites you to enjoy a cosy evening watching TV.
We’ve also got you covered for the little ones and the “big” little ones with our assortment of board games and children’s toys.
In the surrounding area, there are beautiful hiking and biking trails through the Bodden landscape and the unspoiled, historic neighbouring communities such as Gingst, Ummanz, and Landow.
Scattered throughout the entire island of Rügen, you’ll find numerous options for active and cultural leisure activities.
For golf enthusiasts, the nearby Schloss-Karnitz golf course is a must-visit.
The well-known seaside resorts on the east coast (Binz, Sellin, Baabe, Göhren, and Glowe) are about a 30-minute drive away.
Other important destinations include the port city of Sassnitz and Jasmund National Park with its famous chalk cliffs and the Königsstuhl.
A must-see for anyone who loves nature and scenery is Cape Arkona on the Wittow Peninsula, with its 43-meter-high cliffs, lighthouses, beautiful hiking trails, and views of the Baltic Sea.
The car-free island of Hiddensee, with its quiet, long beaches, cliffs, pine forests, and lighthouse, is also a popular destination accessible by ferry from Schaprode.
A varied family holiday is guaranteed thanks to the wide range of recreational activities available. Here is a small selection: Karl’s Adventure Village in Zirkow (25 min.), SPLASH Water Park in Sagard (20 min.), Dinosaur Land (20 min.), Rügen-Park Gingst (10 min.), Bergen Island Toboggan Run (15 min.), Prora Tree-Top Trail (20 min.), and much more.
For extensive shopping trips and a visit to the famous “Ozeaneum” marine museum, it’s well worth taking a trip to the nearby Hanseatic city of Stralsund with its beautiful old town, numerous historic landmarks, and dining options.
The oldest city in Pomerania is considered the “Gateway to the Island of Rügen.” The drive across the breathtaking Rügen Bridge—Germany’s largest cable-stayed bridge—is always an exciting experience for the whole family, especially when the sun rises or sets against the backdrop of the steel cables.
From there, it’s not far to your dream holiday in Dreschvitz… just 20 minutes away…
We look forward to your visit!
