Other things to note
If visiting in the winter, 4-wheel drive is recommended as it can snow occasionally. During the spring and summer, the creek passage at the entrance of Pine Flats can occasionally have water running over the bridge from time-to-time, but rarely does this cause an issue. In the event of high water in the creek please do not attempt to cross. You may park your vehicle just outside the neighborhood entrance and use the footbridge to cross over the creek to access the home.

While the exterior porch and furniture is cleaned after each stay, during certain times of the year you may experience more debris from weather, native plants, and pollen. In the event the outdoor space is not sufficiently clean to your liking we provide a broom and basic cleaning supplies that can be used at your convenience!

This home is nestled in the quiet Pine Flats Community in Oak Creek Canyon, close to the creek and mountain views. Fruit trees, including apples, pears and apricots dot the front yard.

Please, no pets (not even just to visit), parties, or smoking in or around the property. Also, please do not use candles in the home due to the fire hazard. Additional fees for each violation will be charged to the guest who booked and you will forfeit the remainder of your stay with no refund.

If you desire an early check in, please reach out to us the morning of your scheduled arrival. We do our absolute best to accommodate early check in's when possible. We often have same day check outs and check ins so we just need to ensure that our cleaner has enough time to properly clean and restock the home and that our maintenance crew has sufficient time to take care of any needed items prior to your arrival.

Booking over 2 weeks (14 days) will require a mandatory mid-stay cleaning, billed separately, in addition to the cleaning charged at booking.

We do accept alterations requests, but ask that they be made at least 14 days prior to the start of your original reservation date. Acceptance of the alteration request is at the host's discretion.

Communication with the host was great! We got to the property after midnight so finding it was a little tricky. It definitely was a nice place very clean so after a long day’s travel, it was nice to be able to just settle in and rest. There are lots of seating areas and an open floor plan that we all felt very comfortable to just relax. Although the town is a few minutes drive (about 25 mins), the surrounding area was a nice place to explore. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect place for wanting to explore around Sedona, oak creek and Flagstaff. Kitchen was stocked so well, almost made me wish we had planned more to cook while there. Beds were comfy. We loved being able to walk down to the creek (steep but short). Quiet neighborhood. Great communications with manager. Wonderful space to stretch out with an open floor plan. We’ll definitely look for this place when we come back.

Host was super responsive to all communication and questions! My family and I spent five nights at this place, and enjoyed every minute we were there! It was between Flagstaff and Sedona, which was perfect because we explored both areas extensively. The kitchen was well-appointed and had high quality furnishings like a Bosch dishwasher (if you know, you know!!) and Reidel glassware (another IYKYK!). There are mini splits in the main living areas and the upstairs bedroom, but not on the main floor bedrooms. We opened windows and enjoyed the fresh air in the evenings. The only thing that was missing were beach/outdoor use towels for Slide Rock and Buddha Beach, which we purchased and ended up leaving behind because our luggage could not fit the extra towel purchases. There were even camp chairs in the hallway closet (we added one to the collection, as well). This was an experience that was unforgettable, and when we return to the Sedona/Flagstaff area, I would select this rental again. The owners live right next door and are incredibly kind humans. Our kids really enjoyed being so close to the creek! If you can't scramble down the few rocks right behind the house, it is a short and lovely walk to the bridge right down the street. We rented a Chevy Suburban, which was very annoying to try to park in the space, but that was on us as guests, so just be aware there is a nice parking space, and does fit a large vehicle, but was sort of tricky to navigate into the space.
