The house was wonderful. The backyard with the pool, hot tub and putting green was a play land for everyone. The area is serene with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and just a short drive to downtown Calistoga. Everything was easy to navigate. We all fell in love with the house and look forward to returning in the future.

The property is nice but the only issue I had was the only reason I booked this property, the spa. it was disgusting, it look as if someone poured a half a gallon of milk into it and had a scum line around the water line. As a spa owner myself I know there are only one ways to fix it. The correct way is to drain it clean the filters and tub and refill. After notifying the leasing company the pool matience guy showed up late and just threw clarifier into it to clear the water not addressing what the issue that caused it. After watching him do that we decided not to take a chance of being exposed to bacteria or fungal contamination. The leasing company didn't offer any compensation after I expressed my dissatisfaction and told them this was the only reason I chose this property.

Thank you for staying at Golfers Cottage and for sharing your feedback. We're sorry the spa wasn't what you hoped for, especially knowing it was an important part of your stay. We take spa maintenance very seriously. The spa at Golfers Cottage is fully drained, cleaned, and refilled once every week, and the water is treated before each guest arrives. As soon as you raised your concerns, we contacted our spa technician, who came out shortly after to inspect and test the water. He found nothing wrong with the spa, which is why compensation was not offered. We appreciate you letting us know and are glad you enjoyed the property. We hope future guests will enjoy the spa as much as many before them have.
