This house met our needs perfectly. Needed four bedrooms and gathering space for a meal. The home was clean and better than staying in hotel room, Hope this is available next year and will stay here again. :)We come to Childress every year for a family reunion. Childress has an influx of people due to construction. It is hard to find a hotel and when you do, it is three times the price of previous years.

The home was nice enough, but there were several things that were not good, and bordered on dangerous.1. Front storm doorhandle fell off 3 times.2. Stove front burner and vent hood were greasy/dirty.3. Stove is ancient and had no safety feature to secure gas turn-on knobs. With little children they could easily turn on the gas without an adult noticing, which is life-threatening. Ours did turn on the oven. We remedied this by removing all knobs until we were going to cook.4. Cold water could not be turned on or off in the shower in the master bedroom. Handle provided was not the correct style to turn on the valve.
