You have full access to our entire home and the property, including the boathouse, dock, private beach area, hot tub, and game room. If you plan to use the community boat ramp, please let us know in advance and we'll share the current gate code.
The Neighborhood:
144 Rose Circle sits on the private (warm) side of Lake Anna in the Cuckoo's Nest community in Bumpass, Louisa County. The private side is the smaller of Lake Anna's two basins and stays warmer year-round thanks to the discharge from the North Anna power station, making spring and fall lake days noticeably more comfortable than the public side. Because the private side has no public boat ramps, water traffic stays light and the coves stay quiet. Within a short drive you'll find local wineries, the Pleasants Landing waterfront restaurant, the Sunset Grille, Lake Anna Taphouse, and Mineral and Bumpass each offer grocery, gas, and convenience stores within 10 to 15 minutes.
Getting Around:
Lake Anna is about 1.5 hours from Richmond, 2 hours from Washington, DC, and 45 minutes from I-95. The home is roughly 10 minutes to the nearest grocery and gas, a short drive to local marinas, restaurants, and wineries. Free parking for up to 10 vehicles on the private driveway. The original two-car garage has been converted into a dedicated game room, so parking inside is not available.
