I needed a long term stay in DC for an internship. This place was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal for walking distance to National Mall and all of the museums. The Archives metro station is only a few minute walk. I felt very safe in this area even late at night. I was pleasantly surprised by the property and overall experience given the lower costs than similar Vrbos in the area. The host was very kind and informative and down to earth. She met me at the apartment to show me around, else I would have never found the lovely courtyard, indoor pool, and trash shoot. The place itself is cozy and offers a wonderful view sitting at the piano. The host checked in on me via text throughout my time and also gave me a heads up on events hosted at the apartment in the lounge. When I go back to DC, I will only reach out for this property. I will certainly miss it until I return! I recommend going to Street Burger/Pizza at the corner there, I couldn’t stay away all summer due to the mouth watering burgers!
