With over 1,900 hours of sunshine, the island of Usedom is one of the sunniest islands in Germany. Zinnowitz, which is over 700 years old and has a swimming tradition dating back more than 160 years, is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the island. At the beginning of the 20th century, hotels and guesthouses with impressive architecture were built, which, together with the spacious promenade, create a unique atmosphere.
In 1863, Theodor Fontane described the island in a letter to his wife with the words.... “Here one finds peace and fresh air, and these two things fill the nerves, the heart, and the lungs with a quiet delight.” Come and see for yourself, and enjoy your holiday in Zinnowitz.
