Unique Berlin Experience

The gallery provided a uniquely Berlinesque experience. This is a gallery first and accommodation second, but it works. You have to abandon your conventions of staying in a typical place and give into the artists lodging version of life. Each room is a carefully curated space with interesting pieces to explore. Some you may like, some you may not but it’s all part of this place’s charm. The location was excellent. We could walk to plentiful spots to sight see, eat and drink and transport is also close by. Diego was an excellent host who was ready to answer any question and careful to ensure our stay was a success. Be open to something different, understand this space will not be for the average tourist and let yourself enjoy this apartment that you could only find in Berlin!

Unique stay

If you are looking for a unique Berlin stay this would definitely be that! The place is primarily an art gallery with very alternative type of art. We liked it however it wasn’t exactly a comfy place to stay. There is really no kitchen to speak of and the space is cluttered with art pieces and is quite dusty. There is no living room - couches or cozy chairs to sit on. I’m glad we stayed there as it really was a unique experience however I wouldn’t choose to stay again. It is in a great neigbourhood with lots of cafes, bars, shops, etc. and an easy bike or scooter ride to most sites you’d want to visit. So would I recommend? Yes. However only if you are very open minded and not looking for typical creature comforts in a home.

Tolle Ausstellung und grandios dort zu wohnen

Die Wohnung war wunderschön beleuchtet am Abend als wir ankamen, so konnten wir erstmal eine Runde gehen und die Ausstellung genießen. Man hat alles was man zum Leben braucht, auch arbeiten war ohne Probleme möglich im Hauptraum. Alle meine Kolleg*innen waren von dem Hintergrund angetan. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.
