The home was cozy and had amazing views of the water. The entire upper level was laid out like a master suite and had expansive views of the lake. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.

We came over into the Sandpoint area to explore and not necessarily spend a ton of time at the VRBO. So, our expectations were met in that has a river view, clean, had all the basics, plenty of space for the two of us plus one large dog (which btw did not love all the hard slippery floors on the first floor). He was most comfortable upstairs where there is a large rug). It has a good place to take the dog out for his business for a stroll in a large grassy area but no where good to go for a walk as it is just below Hwy 2. There is traffic noise from Hwy 2 so if one is noise sensitive this may not be ones best pick. The kitchen has all the basics, very clean, functional and a view of the lake that is across from the seldom used railroad tracks. I wish they had more comfortable bar stools that would be soft seated and pivot. We moved their deck chairs into the kitchen area to enjoy the view and our morning tea. We enjoyed the upstairs seating greatly but alas, not outside. The lower covered deck has seating but unfortunately the top rail of the deck obstructs the view of the lake. They could replace with a cable and that would help a lot with the outdoor seating experience. The BBQ worked great and we had a few meals using it. Town is about 10 miles and we enjoy cooking so we planned for it. The king sized bed is great and the sheets seemed like all cotton and felt good. All the towels you need are available for a longer stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay
