The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Nicely decorated and very serene. Had all amenities that were needed. We enjoyed the peacefulness.

Idyllic Retreat
The house and its location on the pond were idyllic. Though we loved exploring from Augusta to Waterville, we spent most of our time on the water, on the dock, or in the hammock. Such a great spot to unplug and unwind!
This place is a slice of heaven!!! Not only was this lake house clean but it was well stocked with every amenity anyone would need. My favorite place, besides the dock during a sunrise, had to be the amazing window seat overlooking the lake. Even when it rained this house made our day! We would definitely stay here again!
The lake house was very inviting and well stocked with all you would need for your stay. We loved how private it was there. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces as the weather has been cool this year in Maine. The water was not very deep near the floating dock which was a slight disappointment for the kids but otherwise the lake was serene with lots of loons. We took a private boat tour around the lake at sunset with a local guide and also took advantage of the kayaks provided. Thanks for a very memorable vacation with family.

Wonderful dreamy cabin
The sturdy pine and cedar construction positioned on a corner bluff provided gorgeous views that extended to a stone patio and private dock. The kitchen was modern and extensive clearly put together by people who cook and entertain. The upstairs cove bedrooms with a row of little windows provided a charming aspect to listen to the water lapping and mournful loons at night whilst snuggled in a cozy pine bed. The sitting area was very comfortable and charming. Just perfect for anyone who wants to be very comfortable and enjoy the Maine outdoors motif. Sad to say goodbye!

Great "pond" house!
I stumbled upon this listing when, at short notice, I needed a home base for a week-long work trip. I doubt this place will be available on short notice in the future because it is great and will get booked out well in advance. If I have work or fun in this part of Maine in the future, this is the place I will try to book.
I loved the cabin-like appearance of the outside. Inside, it had clearly been recently updated. It's cozy, but also reasonably roomy. I think it could serve two small families, which about right for a pond vacation anyway. There's only one full bath, but there is an outside shower.
The outside patio is amazing. I love the rustic stone design, including the granite steps to the lake. After putting in long work days we would crack open a cold one, fire up the mosquito coils (a must!) and sit out there listening to the loons. We managed to get out in the provided canoe a couple times. That's a nice perk!
This is the last house on the road and in a very quiet spot.
We had to contact Vacasa at one point because the cleaning crew had left garbage bags outside and raccoons got into it. Adding an outside trash can would be helpful.
Finally, future renters should open all the kitchen cabinets. There's a special poem taped inside one that is informative and entertaining. I'll leave it at that!
