First let me start by saying the Host Kevin was responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. I was visiting from California. The unit was clean and nicely decorated. The bed had nice bedding and was comfortable. I slept so good. Aside from the comfy bed, I believe I slept well because I felt extremely safe. The house is in a well lit gated area. Also, when a door or window is opened you are notified. Beautiful outdoors. There are trails, a trampoline, swing, tree house and fire pit It is a great rental that feels like it is far from the town but actually it is a beautiful 5 minute drive through the forest to stores, gas station ect. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

Why they chose this property

What I love most about this property is how peaceful it feels. In the morning, you wake up to birds singing instead of traffic, and at night you can actually see the stars. There's a sense of privacy and quiet here that's getting harder and harder to find. Some days I'll sit outside with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the fact that everything feels a little slower and calmer.

What's amazing is that even though it feels like you're out in the middle of your own private retreat, you're really not far from anything. Shopping, restaurants, and everyday conveniences are only about 10 minutes away. Lake Morton is just a short walk down the road, and there are plenty of places nearby for hiking, scenic drives, and enjoying the outdoors. It's one of those rare places where you can enjoy the feeling of being completely away from it all without actually being far from anything.
