The home was nice. They do need to get a bear proof garbage can.

The property's interior was pristine. The house is surrounded by trees, which makes for a lovely cacophony of birdsong by day and crickets at night. The hot tub and all appliances worked properly, and customer service responded almost immediately to our questions. It's a very peaceful location, and the lower floor master suite is 100% accessible for those who need it. The upper loft feels a lot like a really swank summer camp, although it would be nice to be able to adjust the shower head to accommodate shorter people. If I had a need to stay in Lake Lure again I'd be happy to come back here.

We're so grateful for this thoughtful review. We're thrilled the pristine interior, peaceful setting surrounded by trees, and the natural sounds of birds and crickets made your stay so relaxing. It's wonderful to hear the hot tub and appliances performed perfectly and that our customer service team was responsive to your needs. We really appreciate your kind words about the accessibility of the lower floor master suite and the charm of the upper loft. Thank you for the suggestion about the shower head, and we'd be delighted to welcome you back to Lake Lure anytime. The VueStay Team

The home was not as clean as it first appeared on arrival. There was no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels robes or anything. The hot tub location is too far and inconvenient for use. You have a large porch that would be perfect for it. Having to go out the front door and all the way around the house is not a good layout. Outdoor furniture and fire pit area was just to dirty to want to use.
