Finca with jacuzzi and sea view

The "Ventana al Mar" finca is located at the foot of the small town of El Tanque on the northwest coast of Tenerife and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from an elevation of 500 metres. The farmhouse, which is over a hundred years old, has been gradually and extensively renovated in recent years with great attention to detail, while preserving its original rustic Canarian charm.

The finca is in a very quiet yet central location, making it the ideal place to relax, go on excursions or hikes, or work from home while enjoying perpetually spring-like weather and a breathtaking view of the ocean and the lush green landscape.

The finca consists of two houses and can accommodate up to six people. The two-story main house features a four-poster bed with a sea view on the upper floor. An open staircase leads to the open-concept living/sleeping area on the lower floor, which has two additional single beds. Adjacent to this is a newly renovated bathroom with a toilet and shower, as well as a kitchen in typical Canarian style with a fireplace that heats the entire house on cooler evenings.

Next to this house is a separately accessible studio with a large double bed and a bathroom with a toilet and shower.
The studio can only be booked in addition to the main house for groups of 4 or more people. However, if needed, the studio can also be booked for a smaller number of guests for a small additional fee.

The finca’s courtyard, filled with many local plants, offers the chance to relax on a lounge chair and enjoy the sun or to wind down the day with friends or family over a cosy barbecue.

The highlight is the elevated hot tub with a view of the finca and a magnificent vista of the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you can cool off on hot days or enjoy the sunset at a comfortable 37 degrees. There is an additional fee of 35 euros per week for heating the hot tub.

Internet is available throughout the property, and all houses are equipped with smart media devices so you can pass the time watching TV or films on rainy days.

A hire car is highly recommended. Parking is available.

Gorgeous finca

Do yourself a favour and book this place… it is gorgeous. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, stunning views, very easy communication with the owners and such a pleasure to stay here. We hope to come back.

Fantastic holiday home, with the bonus of a hot tub, located within fairly easy reach of lovely Garachico and Mount Teide. As the roads are steep and very windy,a smaller hire car worked well. Doro’s recommendations were excellent especially pizza at Paganini’s and dinner at Silogia. We enjoyed a tough but rewarding hike from Los Silos to Erjos and back along a gorge. Also, the pools at El Caleton were so cool!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Finca und generell auf der Insel. Die Finca ist ein echtes Schmuckstück Von dort aus haben wir wirklich viele Ausflüge per Mietwagen rund um die Insel gemacht. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Doro war echt außergewöhnlich herzlich und rege. Vielen lieben Dank für alles, wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!!

Diese wunderschöne Finca war ein echter Glücksgriff. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und hatten das Studio mitgebucht, dadurch hatten wir wirklich viel Platz und 2 Bäder. Alles war sehr ansprechend hergerichtet, sauber, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und wir fühlten uns gleich willkommen. Für uns ein Highlight war der beheizte Jakuzzi, den wir jeden Tag genutzt haben. Von den Sitzfenstern im Haupthaus hatte man einen wunderschönen Weitblick und, wenn die Sonne sich gezeigt hat, auch einen schönen Sonnenuntergangsblick. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man als Selbstversorger braucht, sogar eine Heißluftfriteuse steht in der Küche. Ein Mietwagen ist gut um die Insel kennenzulernen. Die Kommunikation mit Dorothea und Chris war von Beginn der Buchung an sehr angenehm und informativ, und alle Fragen wurden umgehend geklärt. Wir hatten einfach eine wunderbare Woche und können die Finca mit gutem Gefühl empfehlen.

Het is een mooi en rustig gelegen finca met een formidabel uitzicht. Heerlijk voor een ontspannende vakantie. Het huis is mooi ingericht zowel binnen als buiten. Er is genoeg te zien in de omgeving en daarna kun je ‘s avonds heerlijk relaxen in de jacuzzi. Het contact met Dorothea was prettig en fijn. Zeer behulpzaam. We hebben hier met heel veel plezier verbleven. Een aanrader!

Einfach nur schön!

Wir haben uns in dieser unglaublich schönen Finca sehr sehr wohl gefühlt! Haus und Umgebung sind mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und gestaltet. Es hat vile Platz und man findet alles, was man benötigt oder benötigen könnte. Die Ruhe und der Blick aufs Meer sind toll. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut dem, was man vor Ort antrifft. Sehr zuvorkommende, immer ansprechbare und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Es findet sich nichts, was man beanstanden könnte, selbst wenn man danach suchen würde! Wie gesagt, einfach nur schön!

Wunderschöne Finca mit viel Liebe zum Detail

Wir haben hier unsere Herbstferien verbracht und uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Christoph und Dorothea haben hier wirklich etwas ganz tolles aufgebaut. Von der Hängematte mit Meerblick über die vielen kleinen Details, die die Finca so liebenswert machen, bis hin zum Jacuzzi. Alles mit viel Liebe hergerichtet und vom sehr netten Hausmeister Pedro gepflegt. Wirklich empfehlenswert!!!

Traumurlaub

Die Finca mit extra Studio ist wunderschön und liegt in der Nähe toller Wanderrouten und in Meernähe. Die Wohnungen sind mit liebevollen Details ausgestattet und bieten guten Komfort. Die Kommunikation mit Christoph und Dorothea war stets unkompliziert, nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Jacuzzi war nach einem Wandertag ein echtes Highlight. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!
