You are at the beach! Swim, Snorkel, Surf or Just Relax at the Beach or Pool! Walk to several beaches across the street. Soak Up the Natural Beauty of Kauai! It is all just steps away!

Your second floor, ocean view lanai is only 300 feet from the ocean in the sunny South Shore Poipu area of Kauai, 'the Garden Island.' You will be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves and the trade winds whispering through the palm trees in adjoining Prince Kuhio Park. The view from the bedroom is 180 degrees, ocean to mountain. The atmosphere here is 'Classic Hawaiian,' mellow and laid back. As such there is no AC in unit. Cooling depends on the trade winds and fans.

Two beaches are each a three minute walk and feature protected swimming and snorkeling with turtles and fish inside the reef, as well as surfing at PK's, Centers, and Acid Drops on the outer reef. Many more beaches and surf spots are nearby. Close by are all Poipu and Koloa restaurants, golf courses, shopping, and services. Other South Shore Kauai attractions are a short drive away. Don't miss the Beach House Restaurant, across the street, famous for the magnificent sunset view.

Value! This is one of the best-kept secrets for rental values in the Poipu area. Our beautifully appointed, one bedroom condominium unit features a king bed in the ocean view bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, washer/dryer, and a garden-view living room. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking. The grounds are lushly landscaped and feature a pool, barbecue area, and covered parking. Prince Kuhio is a small complex and is rated a 'solid gold value' by 'The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook'.

The sun rises were very spectacular, especially with a few clouds. Very nice unit, stocked kitchen with dinning and cooking needs. Little home away from home. Felt very comfortable. Grounds are beautifully maintained and clean. Roosters are the morning greeters, we knew this from a previous visit to Kauai.

We had a lovely time at this property. The location was amazing along with all the amenities in the Condo and the grounds as well. Doug and Patti were responsive hosts and we will recommend this place to anyone visiting the island!

Great condo in a great location.

We had a great time in our ocean view condo. We couldn’t have asked for a better location; it was close to all South Island attractions. A beautiful beach across the road to watch sunsets & Baby Beach, great for snorkelling, was only about 200 meters down the road. Both the pool and gardens were immaculate. An outstanding experience.

Prince Kuhio and the Chickens!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little gem of a condo. It backs on to Prince Kuhio park and you have a fabulous view of the sea, palm trees and sunrises from the bedroom.

Great property at a great location. Walkable to many things and if not walkable, short drive to everything on south/south east side of island. Be prepared to wake to the chickens ~4:30am daily!

Relaxing and beautiful location

What a lovely location in Poipu! The condo was comfortable, bright and perfect for our stay! The sunrises in the morning from the balcony were beautiful.We had everything needed to enjoy the beach - umbrella, chairs, towels and even a snorkel. We didn't cook or BBQ but the kitchen was stocked to accommodate your needs.The beach is right across the street or you can drive a mile down the road to Poipu Beach to enjoy the turtles that come onto the sand to bask in the sun.Riptide - a little kiosk a short walk from the condo has great shaved ice!It's easy to go to Kaua'i but very hard to leave!Mahalo for sharing your relaxing condo with us - we hope to return soon!!

Great space and location!

We loved this place! There was so much space for the 2 of us and the balcony with the ocean view and breeze was a dream! Highly recommend and would gladly stay here again. I was nervous about not having AC, but with the windows open, the wind kept it perfectly comfortable! We also didn’t have a car during our stay here but found the area to have plenty of walkable access to beaches, food, and shopping.

Location, location, location

This little gem of a condo building is no longer a well kept secret. It is in the perfect place to snorkel, shop, dine out, swim, walk, view amazing marine life, and mingle with an awesome community of travelers. Doug and Patty are excellent hosts and conscientious property owners. You will not go wrong here.

Great condo!

We really loved this condo. It had everything we needed for cooking some meals and enjoying the beach. We slept with the door open for a nice breeze and the condo was never too hot. The Rooster alarm clock does go off pretty early but we were able to go back to sleep most mornings. We would definitely stay here again!
