The quiet surrounding natural area makes it feel oh so private yet it is right in the heart of one of the most popular zones on 30A. Composed of a diverse array of charming beach communities and quaint eclectic neighborhoods, the Beaches of 30A along Florida Scenic Hwy 30A in South Walton County in Northwest Florida have a collective appeal to just about everyone. Each of the sixteen neighborhoods has its own unique style and affords a different vacation experience. Today Pinkie was zeroing in on Seagrove Beach, where her newest guest nest awaits.

From her vantage point well above the tree line, Pinkie Flamingo had a spectacular “bird's eye view” of the entire lay of the land. Stretching her wings luxuriously, she floated over clusters of opulent vacation homes…each standing ready to welcome those fortuitous enough to have discovered the quaint charm of 30A. Pinkie had set her flight GPS to her next guest nest and she soon spotted it below.

Head West and you'll find yourself in Seaside, famous for its white picket fences, collage of food trucks, open amphitheater, outdoor boutiques and local restaurants like Bud & Alley's and Fish Out of Water. “Mr Pinkie and I had the most wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at FOOW! It was a beautiful sunny November day and dining on turkey and dressing while the Gulf water sparkled in the distance was truly special”.

To the East is the charming community of Seagrove, a slice of old Florida characterized by its serenity, its beautiful canopy of oaks, magnolias and hickory trees, and its well-balanced mix of dining and attractions like The Olde Florida Fish House, famous for its with idyllic al fresco dining venue overlooking the serene waters of Eastern Lake. Frequently the scene of local live music, The Olde Florida Fish House is where Pinkie first tasted George T Stagg bourbon, “It was a life-changing experience…that's for sure!” Pinkie smiled at the pleasant memory. Another popular neighborhood eatery invites you in for breakfast, lunch and dinner…The Perfect Pig, among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide reviewed on Trip Advisor, serves up local favs like fried green tomatoes with crab meat.
