About the host

Host profile image
Hi! I'm Nick, and along with my wife Kathi and our three amazing kids, we split time between sunny gulf-coast Florida and the beautiful North Carolina mountains. We moved south from Massachusetts back in 2017, but the Blue Ridge Mountains quickly captured our hearts! There's nothing better than knowing our guests are making memories in a place that means so much to our family. We're hands-on, responsive, and always just a message away to make sure your stay is perfect!

Why they chose this property

Welcome to Creekside at Eagle’s Nest, a stunning brand-new 2025 luxury mountain cabin where vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame breathtaking Blue Ridge views, a chef’s kitchen with premium Bosch appliances makes every meal an event, and a two-story wraparound deck becomes your favorite place on earth from the moment you arrive. Wake up to the sound of a babbling creek, sip morning coffee as mist rolls through the valleys, then spend your days exploring Eagle’s Nest’s incredible community amenities — scenic UTV trails, a winery, mini-golf, pickleball, live summer concerts at the amphitheater, hiking trails, a dog park, and casual dining at the Sportsman’s Grille. When the evening calls for something truly special, the Epic Chophouse sits at 4,300 feet with panoramic mountain sunsets, soaring ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, and a menu worthy of the view — reservations are highly recommended. Each spa-inspired bedroom is a serene retreat, the stone fireplace in the main living area sets the perfect mood for late-night conversations, and the charming shops and restaurants of downtown Banner Elk are just minutes away. Whether celebrating a milestone, reconnecting with loved ones, or simply craving peace in the mountains, Creekside at Eagle’s Nest delivers luxury and tranquility in equal measure. AWD or 4WD recommended in winter. UTV rentals available locally — personal UTVs not permitted in the community. Epic Chophouse reservations required; contact the host after booking for details. Eagle’s Nest Winery access available with day pass purchase.

What makes this property unique

What truly sets Creekside at Eagle’s Nest apart is the rare combination of private luxury and a full resort-style community experience — most cabins offer one or the other, but rarely both. Brand-new 2025 construction means guests enjoy fresh, modern finishes and premium Bosch appliances in a chef’s kitchen that goes well beyond the typical cabin setup, while the creek-side setting and two-story wraparound deck with sweeping panoramic views create a sense of place that is genuinely hard to replicate. Being situated within the gated Eagle’s Nest community unlocks an extraordinary range of amenities — a winery, scenic UTV trails, live amphitheater concerts from May through October, pickleball and sports courts, hiking trails, a dog park, mini-golf, and casual dining — all without ever leaving the mountain. And then there’s the Epic Chophouse, a high-end steakhouse perched at 4,300 feet with panoramic sunset views and a stone fireplace, the kind of dining experience that turns a great trip into an unforgettable one. Add in the soothing sounds of a nearby creek, spa-inspired bathrooms, serene bedroom retreats, and the charm of downtown Banner Elk just minutes away, and it becomes clear that Creekside at Eagle’s Nest isn’t just another cabin rental — it’s a complete mountain escape unlike anything else in the High Country.
