Due to past negative experiences, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate construction workers at this time! Quiet, central location in the town centre, off the high street. There is a mobile bakery. Central starting point for exploring the Altmühltal Nature Park. Here, you can enjoy excellent hiking, climbing, horseback riding, or a boat tour. Local collector’s quarry (free admission), Schernfeld Forest Adventure Centre, “In the Footsteps of the Romans”—visit museums, castles, and fortresses in the surrounding area. Thermal baths and the Altmühl Lake District—you’ll find all of this right nearby. Visit the Baroque episcopal city of Eichstätt with the Willibald Museum in Willibaldsburg Castle, or Weißenburg with its Roman archaeological sites.
