This is a beautiful, peaceful home right on the lake! You can literally walk a minute down to explore it. The house was clean, with all amenities; and, super importantly, it had very comfortable beds! It's also conveniently close to all the beautiful rainforest trails around Quinault lake as well as restaurants. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!
The view is amazing and the house is beautiful and well stocked. The master bedroom gets a lot of light early in the morning and there are no window treatments on the upper part of the window so don't plan to sleep in.

Thank you for your thoughtful review.
We're so glad you enjoyed the views, the home, and the amenities.
You're absolutely right that the primary bedroom receives beautiful morning light. We intentionally left the upper windows uncovered to preserve the panoramic views of the surrounding forest and nature, which are one of the home's defining features.
Waking up with the sunrise and the surrounding nature is part of the experience we envisioned for the home, allowing guests to fully enjoy its unique setting.
Absolutely stunning house and beautiful location…the only slight issues is that the neighboring property is right next to it and guests from the neighboring property are walking in front of your windows and patio etc, so the privacy is lacking. My only other issue was that zero effort was made to make the place homey or welcoming. Shockingly sparse, like someone had just moved out and only a few items remained. I was heart broken at first with how uncomfortable the space looked and felt, so I spent the entire time there trying to make the space comfortable and cozy, which actually turned out to be a really fun project in the end…but I would have rather just felt at home from the start obviously, but in any case. That was my only complaint. Beautiful home, just needed some love.
Beautiful setting directly on Lake Quinault, with easy access to the Olympic Park trails. The house was well supplied and had really comfy beds and furniture. The host provides great info to help you plan and prepare for the trek to the park so you can really relax and enjoy your visit. He was very responsive for any questions we had.We definitely hope to be back to enjoy the place again someday!About the area: The home is on paved roads, but to really get into the park activities you’ll want a car that can handle unpaved roads (our Subaru enjoyed its workout to hike both the Queets and Quinault rain forests and to Ruby Beach). Make sure to trek to the Salmon House on the S Shore road for dinner one night! Also, the Quinault Internet Cafe had cozy home cooked eggs and pancakes and friendly service.
