Located between Downtown Dallas and White Rock Lake, this stay offers the best of both worlds: city access and nature nearby. It’s a quiet, spacious place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy. White Rock Lake is just minutes away and offers walking and biking trails, kayaking, fishing, picnic areas, and beautiful lake views. It’s one of Dallas’s most popular outdoor spots and a favorite for guests who enjoy nature and relaxing scenery. Fishing is available at White Rock Lake. Adults 17+ need a Texas fishing license, while children under 17 can fish without a permit. Also, a few minutes away, you find the arboretum. The Dallas Arboretum offers stunning gardens, seasonal blooms, lakeside views, and peaceful walking paths. A beautiful outdoor attraction perfect for nature lovers and families.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
You enter into the gated property using the code, and your parking space is underneath the canopy on the right hand side, and the lodge is right visible in the front
Watch for the river stones that divide the canopy and the lodge. Those are for decorations. If there were a storm, you can proceed to temporarily park at the front of the lodge for safety.

When the building fell into disrepair, and was for sale, I decided to take responsibility for it to keep the surroundings safe, clean, and well maintained. Investing in this location allowed me to enhance the facade, eliminate issues like standing water and mosquitoes, and contribute to a more professional and business friendly environment for the community and my guests.
