Welcome to The Willard Retreat — a charming 1950’s cottage where Old Florida character meets modern comfort. Located just minutes from the Homosassa River.

Inside you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, one full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, a bathroom full with starter amenities, and inviting spaces designed for relaxing after a day of adventure. The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests with:

🛏️ Bedroom 1 – Queen bed with a Beauty Rest Black adjustable mattress
🛏️ Bedroom 2 – Two twin beds
🛋️ Sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests

Guests have access to a complimentary golf cart, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and a spacious yard with an entertainment area and plenty of room for your furry friends. ($50 pet fee) Whether you’re preparing a fresh seafood dinner, enjoying your morning coffee, or winding down after a day on the water, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Your stay includes a golf cart! — perfect for cruising around this golf cart community and enjoying the laid-back local vibe. *Valued at over $150 for a weekend stay.

This is by far the best rental in the area! It is extremely close to everything, the house was very clean, and an amazing yard for your furry friends!

The cottage is charming with homey touches. The bathroom was well stocked and the tankless water heater supplied plenty of hot water. When we needed help with the TV we sent Jennifer a text and she responded quickly. We had fun exploring the area on the golf cart. The area was very quiet and everyone we interacted with was friendly. If we return to the area this would the house I would rent

Wow! What a cute, well thought out vacation rental!! From beginning to end excellent communication! Check in was simple! Upon arrival we walked into a true Homosassa home fully equipped for a wonderful vacation. Our family of 5 were very comfortable with room to spread out. Every detail was carefully thought out from the outdoor seating area to the tiny toothpaste just in case! The home was very clean and cozy, situated conveniently to everything! We came for a scallop trip but were met with so much more given the golf cart on sight. We were able to explore the area to get a real feel for true Homosassa living! The boat ramp was right down the road along with all the best eateries! We will definitely stay here again!

Hi! We’re based in Bradenton, Florida, but Homosassa has felt like a special place to us for years. We’ve spent countless weekends here and always found ourselves coming back for the slower pace, beautiful river, and laid-back Old Florida charm.

When we’re not working, we love spending our time camping, boating, and traveling—especially anywhere that lets us unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The Willard Retreat was created to be the kind of place we’d want to stay ourselves: comfortable, welcoming, and a perfect home base for making memories.

We’re excited to share one of our favorite places with you and hope you enjoy Homosassa as much as we do.
