We loved our stay! The house was very clean, tastefully decorated, cozy, comfortable and the lake view was simply incredible. Kitchen was super spacious and well-stocked. We loved the quietness and being away from the tourists in Bayfield, although we stocked up on groceries beforehand, otherwise you’d have to drive about 45 minutes to get to bigger grocery stores (and most state parks, restaurants, other attractions, etc). Check-in was smooth and the host communications were great as well.

Beautiful house. All the comforts. Great home base. We hiked Amnicon falls, found secret isolated beaches on Lake Superior. Spent a day in Bayfield including 1/2 day fishing charter. Easy access to Duluth as well. Star gazing, s’mores and good stories around the camp fire rounded out a perfect family weekend.

This house had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The appliances and furniture were high quality and the hosts were so generous with what they provided guests: tons of kitchen items, toiletries, family games, books, lawn games, etc.. it really felt like home. The property was gorgeous. We swam once (it's not mobility friendly to get to little beach area) and spent most mornings and nights enjoying the view of Lake Superior.Location was perfect for going to many different nature parks in the area and Bayfield.

The house is spacious and beautiful. It is right on the lake, which is fantastic, as it offers lovely views and a very peaceful setting. The house is well equipped and has several games and activities, both indoors and in the garden, which kept our children very entertained.One area for improvement would be the availability of a canoe/kayak or SUP to use on the lake. Given the relatively high rental price, we felt that having something like this included would have been a nice touch.

Beautiful cabin directly on Lake Superior with a million dollar view! It is a short drive to many different towns, beaches, and waterfalls. The cabin was very well furnished with extra linens/towels and even two extra fold down murph beds. Kitchen had everything and more that a family might need. The kids appreciated the games/toys. There is a second floor balcony deck that is perfect for late night stargazing and a light breeze off the lake kept the bugs at bay. A firepit is located on the lake side of the cabin. The lake is very shallow out front so it is perfect for wading in and even swimming. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This property is WONDERFUL. Gorgeous house, beautiful view, and very communicative hosts. My friend group and I booked this place to have an artist's weekend (we brought our art/craft supplies up and made art for a few days) and we have absolutely fallen in love with the South Shore now. The area has a lot of natural beauty if that's something you're looking to explore, and the house has such a gorgeous yard and shoreline that it's also super pleasant to just hang out there most of the time. The host uses clean detergents for the laundry which was so wonderful because I and one of my friends are sensitive to scented detergent, so that was a very welcome surprise!The only (very minor) hangup we had was that the private beach that was advertised ended up being very small and a little bit difficult to get to. We wound up going to a beach 15 minutes away so it was totally fine but if you're looking for a property specifically for the beach this might not be the one. It's still wonderful to sit on the rocks and stare at the water though!Overall, we had an extremely relaxing time here and would 100% book it again in the future.
