Tranquil 1-bedroom cabin - The Stuga- on Lake Superior's South Shore!

This is one of two log cabins sharing a private 1.5-acre stretch of Lake Superior's South Shore. Each has its own bedroom, its own bath, and its own fire pit — come as a couple and have this one to yourselves, or pair it with our second cabin and bring friends.

The great room opens to a vaulted ceiling with a gas fireplace that warms the place quickly on a cool morning. Natural log walls, wood floors, wide windows facing the water. Full kitchen with range, refrigerator, and microwave, and a table for two.

The loft bedroom sits under the peak, reached by an open stair — a queen bed and the sound of the lake at night. Three-quarter bath on the main floor.

Front and back decks, a private fire pit overlooking the water, and stairs down to the shore. The beach here is driftwood and stone rather than sand, shaped by whatever the lake has been doing lately.

The setting

This is the quiet side of the Bayfield Peninsula. Dark skies, no traffic noise, sunsets that go on for a while. Fiber optic internet for anyone who has to stay connected.

Need more room? Our other cabin, is a short walk away on the same property — identical layout, its own entrance. Two cabins means four people can share a weekend without sharing a bathroom.
