The Space:

Relax on the porch swing out on the deck and take in the spectacular mountain and valley views. Be sure to claim a rocking chair! Guests are free to cook up dinner on the private gas grill or in the full kitchen. Enjoy the secluded atmosphere outside or take it inside and enjoy the gas fireplace.

The secluded nature of this cabin is part of it's charm. But just under five miles from the cabin lies Swan Drive In, perfect for a movie date night. The Lake Blue Ridge Marina offers pontoon boat rentals for lake fun just under nine miles from the cabin. The Expedition: Bigfoot! Sasquatch Museum offers an unconventional museum experience just over three miles away.

We were highly disappointed in our stay. When we arrived to our cabin one of the main things we were looking forward to was the indoor hot tub as it set the cabin above allothers we looked at. There was a sign on the hot tub when we arrived that said it was out of order due to maintenance. We were not made aware in advance or anything. This was a huge disappointment. I called and spoke to someone who apologized and said they would discuss with their manager and reach back out however its been 3 days and no explanation or compensation for such disappointment. It was a colder weekend, the hot water in the shower latest maybe 10 mins so needless to say we were disappointed all around. We definitely recommend ensuring things are in working order to avoid disappointment prior to arrival. Other than the disappointment the cabin was clean with beautiful views. I just feel as though the owners may not be as attentive to issues and understanding what really makes a vacation.

Everything was perfectly set up for our stay! The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Directions for all amenities clearly explained and readily available. View was fantastic. Everything you’d need for relaxing visit provided (books, movies, etc) at a really great price, far better than a hotel or inn at a competitive value.

Romantic getaway
