Summary:
Let the first look of the day be blue water from your private lanai, then wander over to Honokowai Beach before the sun gets high. This one-bedroom, one-bath Papakea condo sleeps four and brings West Maui's easy beach rhythm right to the door, with ocean views, beach access, a shared pool, hot tub, and grills for easy nights at home. Spend the morning in the water, grab a casual lunch in Honokowai, and come back for a soak while the kids play in the pool. Kaanapali Beach and its shops are an easy outing, while the road north leads toward Kapalua's coves. With air conditioning and a private washer and dryer, this is a comfortable choice for a couple, a small family, or friends who want their Maui days to feel uncomplicated.
The Space:
Ocean views and a view toward the shared pool set the scene from the private lanai. Inside, contemporary furnishings, a cozy living room with a smart TV, and a second smart TV in the bedroom make the one-bedroom, one-bath layout easy to settle into. New appliances fill the kitchen, and air conditioning throughout plus a private washer and dryer take care of the practical side of a four-guest stay.
Guest Access:
Guests at Papakea Resort in Lahaina enjoy access to a shared communal and outdoor pool plus a hot tub, with an elevator serving the building. This oceanfront property offers direct beach access, a disabled parking spot, and garden views, all within an easy walk of Honokowai Beach.
The Neighborhood:
Papakea is in the Honokowai area of West Maui, a coastal stretch just north of Kaanapali with a more relaxed, local pace. Honokowai Beach is nearby for a swim or a shoreline walk, and neighborhood markets and casual restaurants make it easy to pick up poke, fruit, or dinner without a long drive. Kaanapali's beach and Whalers Village are farther south, while Kapalua's bays and trails are up the coast. It is a practical base for couples and small families who want West Maui beaches close at hand.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's scenic west side coastline. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, shopping, and dining spread along the coast. Front Street and the historic town center are walkable with charming shops and restaurants, while nearby beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available in lots, though it can fill up in town.
Other Things to Note:
There is a dual split AC in the bedroom and living room which keeps the entire unit air-conditioned. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
