Guest Access:

Guests at Sugar Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills right along the shore in Kihei. The building offers an elevator, disabled parking spot, and accessible-height features for easy access. Beach access and landscaped grounds with a garden round out the on-site amenities.



The Neighborhood:

The North Kihei coast offers a quieter way into South Maui. Sugar Beach is right there for a morning stroll, Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge is close for a nature break, and Maalaea Harbor is a handy direction for a boat outing or Maui Ocean Center. If the group is ready for cafés, casual dinner, and more beach activity, South Kihei and Kamaole Beach Park III are down the road. It is easy to create a full trip without a lot of driving.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
