Enjoy a peaceful lakeside stay just a 15 minute drive NW of downtown Bemidji at this 1 bedroom + loft cabin (Sleep 5 max -3 queen). Up to 2 dogs (max 50 lbs each allowed w/fee -please kindly keep them off the beds and furniture.)

The kitchen has a full size refrigerator/freezer, pots/pans, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, stove/oven (note: oven runs hot. We recommend prioritizing cooktop & grill menu-planning), countertop dishwasher, dish/dishwasher detergent provided.

Nestled on 4 acres of privacy -great fishing on conservation Long Lake with private dock (no public access). Additional outdoor highlights: Fire pit, grill and picnic table. Screened porch. Enjoy watching the loons and eagles.

This A-frame style cabin provides a spectacular view of the lake (but with blackout curtains for the big window for a sleep-in morning). The main floor features a private bedroom with closet and ceiling fan next to the bathroom (shower, sink, toilet -dryer, linens and basic soaps/conditioner provided).

The loft has 2 additional queen beds and view of the lake. Whether you’re relaxing indoor with heating or cooling, fishing off the dock, or enjoying an evening building memories by the fire pit, the cabin offers a superb environment for any season.

This awesome retreat invites you to unwind and recharge in a cozy setting. Enjoy your time in Bemidji at the cabin.

Smart TV, DVD player (w no-charge movies to borrow) and Wi-Fi provided.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Used beds: Leave unmade (messy). Unused beds please leave made.
Please turn off the Mini-split if AC has been running. Ensure all windows are closed.
Used bath/kitchen linens: please toss DRY dirty linens in laundry basket (located in master bedroom). Damp ones -leave hanging on bathroom hooks please.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please remove your shoes when inside the cabin (shoes on in porch is allowed)
Wash and put away dishes before the end of your stay
Please leave used beds unmade. Do not strip them. Used but dry towels in laundry basket in master bedroom.

Meredith grew up in Inver Grove Heights, MN, went to college at The University of Kansas, and returned to MN to raise her family.
After becoming empty nesters, we moved our remote jobs to beautiful Bemidji, MN to the lake, and bought the nearby cabin where we hope you will enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

1. Privacy! It's very peaceful here! 4 acres, easy access to hop into the lake (no stairs, no walking across a road). The lake has no public access. 2. Nature: This is a conservation lake with lots of beautiful loons to watch and listen to, and eagles nesting. The lake is also great for fishing. Bring your fishing poles and fish off the dock (with a valid MN fishing license of course!), take a sunset kayak ride! 3. Convenience: There is a great little bar/grill "89 Bar & Grill" just down the street and an easy 25-minute drive into downtown Bemidji for anything else you may need!
