Six of us were able to rent this great place for three birthday celebrations. Host was so amazing and the house was perfect and close to Chesapeake City! The two futons actually each slept two people, which was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view of the water. House was clean but had a very small hint of cat urine on some of the furniture. Communication with the owner was excellent. All amenities were as described.

Very clean. Luxurious bedding and towels. Nice deck and back yard with plenty of seating options to relax and enjoy the boat traffic on the canal. Good location with access to the paved canal path just around the corner. Safe, quiet neighborhood and only a 5 minute drive to downtown restaurants, shops, etc. Unfortunately the hot water in the bathroom was barely tepid and there were no lamps in the bedrooms for ambience and bedtime reading.

Beautiful Canal Rental. Not new but well loved. We stayed for a wedding with lots of comings and goings. We slept 5 and could have slept probably 25 ? There is a big backyard that could be a tent city. Lol. One bathroom so that was highly entertaining! We were lucky. With a full moon rising over the Canal and the leafs changing by the hour, it was a perfect weekend. A think they called this a carrage house? Not so nice as to upstage the wedding parties place. But it certainly was where everyone came to unwind. And turns out easy to see from the water. Just watch your step. The floors are uneven. If you can't walk the property, then you should not drive. Close to everything and far away from New York! 5 out of 5 stars

We had a nice relaxing weekend in this cozy little cottage. The new A/C system worked well which we needed since the weather was extremely hot. We did get to sit in the shade of the trees in the backyard at times and enjoy the water view and the boats passing by. The house was extremely clean and linens were provided. Matt, our host, was friendly and very responsive when we texted with some questions and minor issues. This was our first time in Chesapeake City and we will be back!
