About this property

Spacious 3-bedroom in a charming historical house walking distance to downtown

Experience the beauty of Belfast from this bright, spacious, and character filled 3 bedroom, perfectly suited for families, friends, or longer stays. Set inside a beautiful 1800's historic home, this in-town property blends classic charm with modern comfort, creating a welcoming place to relax after a day of coastal adventures.

The main level invites you to spread out and unwind. A large kitchen features a new island for prep space for cooking together or lingering over morning coffee. The generous living room centers around the original fireplace, adding warmth and historic character, and includes a new smart TV for streaming your favorite shows. A cozy dining nook bathed in natural light sits nearby and there is a convenient half bathroom just steps away. You’ll also enjoy private laundry room with a washer and dryer.
There are two entry and mudroom spaces, one at the front door to the street and parking and the second at the back door to a lovely back yard. Both have their own areas to store luggage, coats, and shoes.

Step outside from the kitchen to your own backyard oasis. Beautiful gardens and tall greenery create a surprisingly private outdoor space right in town, perfect for enjoying fresh air, reading, or a quiet evening after exploring. Use the picnic table for outdoor dining or watching the kids play in the yard.

Upstairs on the second floor, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom offers a comfortable full size bed and ample closet space. The third bedroom is a fun, multi-level space with a twin bed, plus a play or office area and an impressively large walk-in closet, great for kids, creatives, or remote work.
* Please note that the stairwell going to the bedrooms is steep. It is carpeted and has an adequate safety rail, but please use discretion with young children.

Location is truly one of this home’s standout features. Just outside the town center, you’re an easy walk to downtown Belfast, City Park for swimming, the harbor, shops and restaurants, the public library, live music, and other local favorites. With quick access to Route 1, day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Camden, Rockland, and the rest of Maine’s stunning mid-coast are effortless. Explore iconic lighthouses, historic sites, and coastal scenery or visit Fort Knox and the Penobscot Narrows Observatory, just 20 minutes away.

Comfortable, charming, and ideally located, this Belfast stay offers the perfect balance of history, space, and convenience. You can truly feel at home while discovering all that coastal Maine has to offer.
