About the host

Hosted by Amanda and Lee

Host profile image
Amanda and Lee have hosted since 2014 starting at Lake Lure. We found this gem in 2018. We have always loved the Rocky Broad River and the towns of Chimney Rock. We have loved hosting couples, relatives , and friends who join us in the love for this cabin once they have stayed.
We have put lots of personal blood, sweat, and tears restoring her after she suffered some damage in Hurricane Helene, but she is now returned to her new and improved beauty and charm.

Why they chose this property

I love sitting on the back porch and listening to the rushing river, birds singing, spotting Blue Herons, otters, black bears, and watching the sunset up river over the mountains.

What makes this property unique

She has always stood out for her historical charm, and cozy feel. She now also is unique in that she is one of the few standing historical homes along the river in Bat Cave and Chimney Rock area.
