About this property

NEW! Uncle Ed's Retro Fishing Cabin on KY Lake

For August 2026 only, contact me first for a discount! We have just opened this property and want feedback and some great reviews to kick things off!

This charming cabin offers a cozy retreat for guests seeking comfort and relaxation. Built in 1952, this is the classic cabin that has been the basis of memories for generations. A retro feel, but modern appliances will allow you to step back in time without giving up the modern conveniences.
The three bedrooms feature three queen beds and two twin beds, there’s plenty of space for everyone. Bedrooms are cooled with window air conditioners to personalize your level of comfort. Each has a TV when you want to unwind.
The living room includes a futon and 4 leather chairs, a large television and a wood fireplace. Perfect for lounging after a day of adventure.
The kitchen is full of all new appliances, but with a retro style. A dining area to one end and every plate, pot, pan or cup you could need. A dual Keurig makes coffee by the cup or the pot.
Outdoors are so many wonderful relaxing areas. There are both indoor and outdoor patios with a perfect view of the lake and the wildlife. The lake comes right to the property, and while we don't have a dock (yet!) it is so easy to pull close and load up. The bay is calm and great for kayaks and swimming. We recommend using Moors Boat ramp to launch.

Whether you’re watching dawn from the deck of your fishing boat or enjoying coffee from the back patio watching the tranquil water, this marvelous cabin provides a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy your time at Kentucky Lake at our cabin!

Why they chose this property

We couldn't pass up this fabulous cabin when our dear neighbor called to sell. "Uncle" Ed has loved this place for decades and we can't wait for a whole new set of memories to flood it.

What makes this property unique

This cottage was built with live in the 50s and we tried hard to keep that charm.
