WOW!!! The peace and quiet and view here was absolutely phenomenal. I love that there was a fully functional kitchen supplied with everything that you would need, there were even dishes for kids. The décor was beautiful and we loved how the host utilized books for décor as well. There was some fabulous reading and a wonderful book with recipes. When I contacted the host, I got a response quickly (it was not due to a problem, I just wanted to tell him that the place was amazing). This place has a washer and a dryer if you need it, and there was even a beautiful corn-hole game provided. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were delicious. The shower was spacious and the hot water was on demand! One night, we enjoyed some cocktails by the fire pit in the evening. We also liked that you had to have a security code to enter the premises... except for the bunnies and the deer, they were there, whenever they wanted to be!If you'd like to hike, there is a wonderful little trail. You can follow to see a beautiful view of the lake.My spouse and I had not been on a vacation together in over six years... I am so glad that we picked this place! And we feel so blessed that we were able to bring our dogs.We will definitely keep this on our radar for another vacation!!!!Thank you so much Chad (and girlfriend), for thinking of all the little details. After twenty nine years of marriage, this was one of our favorite vacations. This place was fire !
