You'll love coming home to take advantage of the full kitchen to cook up a delicious meal after an afternoon of sightseeing, and the spacious private balcony with ocean views is just the place to wrap up an evening with a riveting mystery novel and a glass of wine from Carolina Vineyards Winery just two miles down the road.

Whenever you need a break from the kitchen, you'll have plenty of great restaurants nearby. Check out Flying Fish Public Market & Grill, The Whole Food Mediterranean Grill, and Rockefellers Raw Bar to sample some delicious local fare. Plan a day trip to visit the Myrtle Beach Pier area and be sure to check out Family Kingdom Amusement Park while you're there. Here for the surfing? Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Great for families

This was a wonderful location. The room was a little outdated but clean. The staff were amazing all very friendly and took care of anything we needed. The multiple Pools and Hot Tubs and lazy river a big hit with our kids. We also enjoyed the outdoor entertainment and singing in the pool. Thank you bay watch for a wonderful vacation

Bay Watch is looking good

We saw improved maintenance at Bay Watch this year. The building and garage were kept clean. More baggage carts were available that made check in and out better. Definitely improved over the past couple of years.

Updated Room

The room was newly updated with fresh paint, bath and kitchen cabinets, countertops, fixtures and appliances. Sleeper sofa and chair appeared new and clean as well. That was a huge plus for me!

Beautiful view

This was a room perfect for my family of 6. Enough space where we wasn’t over crowded and the view was just perfect! If I have any cons of the room it would be that the furniture in the living room is a little out dated and could use a new sofa. Other then that would definitely stay in this unit again! Thanks for the memories!!

It's OK

I was interested in this property because it had low fees. Many other properties have fees that are as much or more as the rental cost. The property is just as pictured. It's not a 4 star hotel but it has most of what you need to enjoy the beach and activities. View is awesome, beds were comfortable, sofa was uncomfortable, kitchen was adequate, bathroom was clean. It could use a broom, newer TV, new sofa, channel guide, and general updating and minor repairs. (hole in bedroom door, closet door broken, etc)

Roaches

Found a roach on the freg. Checked in late and the tv in the living room wouldn’t work. Called the front desk and was told maintenance was gone for the day

Good vacation spot

Baywatch is overall a good vacation stop. The room views are spectacular, Any room you get is ocean side and you can see for miles. The staff is excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. The area is perfect. It is close to anything you would need while vacationing. Stores, restaurants and you name it, is all within a mile or two of the resort. It is a quick and easy 15-20 drive to downtown Myrtle and all the major tourist attractions. I would agree with previous posts that Baywatch 1614 is dated and needs some updates. Couch is horrible and the kitchen lacks basics. However, it is not a deal breaker. Knowing this beforehand helps in your preparation and expectations. Overall a good place with numerous pools, two restaurants, ice cream shop, bar and great beach access. Also as pet owners it worked out perfect. We stayed a week and had a great time.

Great view

This room had a great view of everything. Staff was amazing and friendly. The unit needs some updates for sure. Couch was very uncomfortable and we didn't have a frying pan. We just went and bought one and kept it moving. I was disappointed to see that some stuff wasn't happening like music nightly and I thought we got complimentary tickets somewhere and it was only 1 free ticket and rest discounted. I got food and got the kids food and the kids wasn't free or the one who took the order did not know about it. I blame covid for most of this. We still had a great time.
