About this property
Villa Anna
Villa Anna is a modern and charming villa in Istria for a total of 8 guests and is perfect for a relaxing holiday in Croatia. The villa has great amenities, both indoors and outdoors. Guests can enjoy the warm Mediterranean sun on the comfortable sun loungers by the pool and read a great book or solve crossword puzzles, for example. Refresh yourself after sunbathing with a dip in the pool or a cold drink. The great advantage of the pool is of course that the children stay busy for a long time and the parents can fully relax. Prepare delicious meals on the electric barbecue and enjoy them in the shaded outdoor dining area. Just a few steps from the pool you will find a covered lounge area and a swing, perfect for spending relaxing summer evenings with family and friends. From here you enter the living room, the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen, which are flooded with natural light thanks to large windows. Throughout the ground floor and ground floor, guests will be surrounded by a minimalist design and shades of grey, white and brown. The villa consists of a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all located on the first floor. 2 bedrooms have double beds and one of them even has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. On this floor, guests will also find a bedroom with 2 single beds, a shared bathroom with shower and a sofa bed on the gallery for 2 people. The villa is fully air-conditioned, it has Wi-Fi and the children also have table tennis and table football for fun. If you are looking for relaxation on your holiday, but still want to stay in a modern and stylish villa in Istria, Villa Anna is just the right choice.Visnjan is a small Istrian town on the top of a hill. It is surrounded by forests and is located 10 kilometres north-east of Porec. The ancient terrace on the square, which can be entered through a Venetian arch, gives an amazing sea view. Since the days of Venetian rule, Vinjan served as a well-known trading centre where all kinds of agricultural products and tools were sold. Even today, a traditional open market is held on the last Thursday of every month, which is a special attraction for people from all over Istria.
If you take the stone road down the hill from Visnjan, you can see an early Gothic church of St Anthony, which was built in the 14th century. The road leads to the town gates, which are decorated in bas-relief with the motif of the Lion of Venice from 1517 and behind which hides the pride of the town - the old town square. The square was partially surrounded by the city walls, which were built in the 13th and 14th centuries.
On the square there is a 27 metre high bell tower, a town hut from the 18th century, a fountain and the parish church from the 19th century.
Whatever you need, you will find it in Visnjan: restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, a bank, a pharmacy, a doctor and a post office. In the surroundings of Visnjan you can dine in one of the traditional Istrian taverns, where you can enjoy the original Istrian specialities and taste the highest quality wines of the region, Malvasia and Teran.
Visnjan is a favourite place for astrology lovers due to its internationally recognised astronomical observatory.
