House was clean and beautiful! Neighborhood was nice and close to the lake. Communication was smooth and quick when had a question! Will definitely stay again if we need to be in the area!

What a little gem!! We needed something for 4 people. My daughter got married and my husband, son, and myself needed a place to stay. From the moment we walked in we loved it! High ceilings and open space between the family room and kitchen. It was decorated so lovely! We loved everything about it! Wonderful place to stay:)

The property was excellent. It was very disappointing the red bicycle is no longer available and also no dishwasher! Recommend to update pictures on VRBO.!The red bicycle drew me to the property. Best Maria

The property was very clean and the house was as described. Just as an fyi for future renters, the bike is no longer available. This was a surprise because it was in the property photos. The owner did quickly respond to let us know the reason it was not available.

Our stay was great! We loved the location. It was perfect being so close to Lake Como and drivable to Lake Geneva. The house had everything we needed for our families lake house getaway!

We popped into the Lake Escape for three nights after a couple days in Chicago. As we drove in we realized the area had just experienced a very destructive storm. Trees and branches were down everywhere. We arrived to find the house in ship shape for our stay. It was clear the owners had moved quickly to remove two downed trees from the fire out area. The house better than the pictures and owners have made sure you can walk in and have what you need esp. in the kitchen and bathroom. Owners were positive and responsive. I would gladly recommend a stay here. It is obvious the owners want you to have a relaxed visit.

Great property

We all enjoyed our stay and will absolutely book again. The lake is a short walk away, we had access to a 4 person bike (fun), wine was already chilled and the decor was fresh and new.

Property provided all necessity items. Property owners were quick to respond to questions or help with questions.Bedroom sheets had a few spots / stains, pull out sofa missing sheets but still made do!Very close to beach and bars! Was a wonderful, relaxing weekend with friends!

Great spot, with tons of possibilities nearby.

Our family had a blast at this cozy spot 5 minutes from Lake Como. The neighborhood was friendly and inviting. Lake Geneva was close by to participate in any events happening. We would go back in a heartbeat. The 4 seat bike was a hit :)

No blinds on the kitchen windows, deck door, and bathroom. Raises privacy issues.Nosy neighbor, out on his deck, staring at us inside. Creates unsettling feelings and raises safety concerns.Broken slat on one patio chair and missing slat on another.Exhaust fan in bathroom dirty and full of dust.We were not informed that the bicycle built for 4 would not be accessible during our stay, as this was one of the biggest draws to the property.

Clay, Thank you for bringing the damaged patio chair to our attention. We were not aware that it had a damaged slat. It will be repaired prior to our next guest arrival. Regarding your privacy concerns, our neighbors are lovely people. Their son has special needs and might explain his curiousity. As mentioned, the 4 person bike has been garaged for the winter season. It will be available for guests in the spring.

Great retreat

After a road trip of 7 nights in 7 different hotels, walking into the beautiful home felt like a wonderful retreat. It was easy to check-in with the coded door lock and we felt at home immediately. There were excellent instructions for all of the home details. Everything in the home is well thought out and there were so many complimentary features that were appreciated. The coffee bar and treats were particularly enjoyed. We are not wine drinkers but thought that the chilled complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful and generous gesture. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable so we decided to just stay on the first floor. Both of us have difficulty with arthritis so decided to forego traveling up and down the stairs to use the second floor bedroom. But it would have been great if our daughter had joined us as it provides a bit of privacy. There were plenty of dishes and utensils. Everything worked well. It was almost hard to leave but we hope the next boarders enjoy their stay as much as we did. Thank you for your generosity. We hope that we can return soon.
