About the host
Hosted by Violet Koehn
My husband,Cyrus, and I live at the other end of the property where the cottage is located. We are close enough to help with anything… but far enough to allow privacy for both of us.
We own and operate a small chicken farm,(What a Yolk Egg Farm😀) my husband also enjoys doing handyman work in the area. Our 7 children are all grown and left home by now. I enjoy baking and being a homemaker and helping with our chicken operation. I usually put some of my homemade creations and some eggs from our farm at the cottage so guests don’t need to scramble for breakfast items the first morning they are here.
We enjoy people and love having some interaction with our guests if they are inclined to do so.

We love living in view of the beautiful mountains. And the quiet neighborhood and well maintained road without the large volume of traffic is very appealing. We also have anything you want for shopping within 30-40 minutes of us and a small groc store within 5 minutes from us.
