Hot Tub, Bikes, Walk Downtown from 5-Bedroom Historic Home

"The Hawthorne House" was built in 1917 and is ideally located in the heart of Newberg, a few blocks from local shops, restaurants, and wine tasting. You will have easy access to the renowned wineries of the Willamette Valley, making it a wine lover's paradise. Our indoor and private outdoor living space has a lot to offer, including a covered hot tub, a firepit, greenhouse, childrens shed, and fully equipped kitchen.

The space
Inside you'll find a spacious and tastefully decorated living space, complete with high-end furnishings, modern amenities, and all the comforts of home.

Our kitchen is designed to be both functional and beautiful, with high-end appliances, and large round dining table which seats 8 people comfortably. It's the perfect space to host gatherings or to enjoy a meal after a fun day in wine country.

Our living area features an sectional, loveseat, and a marble coffee table, perfect for socializing with friends or enjoying a good book in peace. The room is bathed in natural light from the large windows, with a guitar, violin and piano to accommodate music nights. We have also provided a Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, and HBO and high-speed internet, for your entertainment.

Each bedroom features plush, comfortable beds with high-quality linens and pillows, perfect for a restful night's sleep. We intentionally kept TV's out of 4 of the 5 bedrooms, promoting a desire to be more present with friends and family.

The bathrooms are newly remodeled to reflect the historic character of the home. They include new linens, shampoo. conditioner, body wash and hair dryers.

We have 5 bikes available for guests who would like to bike downtown or to the wineries. They all come with their own locks for safe keeping.

Our covered outdoor patio features a Traeger grill, complete with a dining table. Walking around to our backyard, you’ll find a hot tub, a wood fire pit surrounded by 6 adirondack chairs with cup holders, a greenhouse, planter boxes and a childrens play shed.

Guest access
Our home offers guests full and exclusive access to the entire property, including all indoor and outdoor living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities. Guests will have access to a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, a firepit and hot tub. We also have wood avaialble for burning.

In addition to the amenities provided on the property, guests will have access to nearby attractions and activities, including hiking and biking trails, golf courses, spas, and of course, world-class wineries and tasting rooms.

The only area without access currently is the garage. We are still using this to make improvements to the home over time but it will be available in the next year.
