My name is Renee, and my husband, O’Brien and I own and operate this retreat. We were both born and raised in Jamaica and have called the U.S. home for more than 20 years. We learned early on that we loved hosting visiting friends and family. We also love to travel and meet people from all over, so we started hosting a spare bedroom inside our home in 2019. Today, we’re still hosting in our home, which is nearby; this time, in a private one-bedroom apartment suite at the back. Welcome to The Retreat at Cottage Creek! We couldn't be more thrilled that you've chosen to stay with us. Legend has it that this cottage was built in 1940 for the in-laws of developer William L. Vance, after whom the street was named.

It was love at first sight when we first saw this cottage. Throughout, you'll find a thoughtful blend of modern comfort and historic character. We've created this space with you in mind. Every detail from the warm decor to the coffee machine in the kitchen was carefully considered when crafting this space.

It's important to us that you feel the comfort of home here! With that said, if you have any requests, problems or suggestions to help us improve the experience for future guests, we’d like to know right away. Welcome home!

Tucked away in a storybook neighborhood a half mile from Marietta Square, you can walk to al fresco dining & events. Quickly access 1-75 so you can get to The Battery (all things Braves) & downtown Atlanta!
