The place was nicely placed off into the country with a beautiful view. My husband and I went for a weekend getaway with our dog. The front porch offers a beautiful view of the Ozark Mountains. We were even able to see multiple deer running around. The place is on a gravel road so that maybe an issue for some. We did have to contact the host on a couple of occasions. One time not receiving check-in information. Upon checking in, the place was nicely lit since it was dark when we checked in. However, we quickly discovered the a/c was not working. The host responded (second time to contact), but did not come to fix the a/c until the next day after we had reached out later in the day (assuming the host would have contacted us to see if the a/c was working-did not). Because it is out in the country and is a storage building turned into a little cabin, we did find remnants of mice poop. The shower is awful. In my opinion, a regular shower needs to be put in place. There was no room to shower or water pressure. The place also did not have curtains. This wasn’t a big deal as we are early risers, but it would be nice to have for additional privacy and to dim the natural light if people are wanting to sleep in. The bed was absolutely phenomenal! I don’t know what kind of mattress is on it, but it’s amazing. The couch is super comfy too. The place is cute for a husband and wife to get away. With some minor adjustments and a more affordable price it would be perfect.
