This holiday home is located not far from the famous Hardangerfjord, in the Hordaland region in the municipality of Kvinnherad. It is located about 250 metres from the fjord on a wooded natural lot. There are three other holiday homes in the immediate vicinity of this property, making it an ideal spot for a holiday with a family of friends.

The house’s numerous windows fill the space with light and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living room, an open kitchen with an adjoining dining area, and a bathroom.

The area surrounding the holiday home offers guests excellent attractions such as the Folgefonna Glacier and many other sights. From here, experience the country’s spectacular contrasts as your gaze sweeps from high above the eternal ice all the way down into the glistening blue-green valley. Let yourself be inspired by the activities in Folgefonn National Park, which offers up-close encounters with nature—from guided glacier tours offering glimpses into deep-blue crevasses to kayaking trips on the glacial lake.

In the Hardangerfjord, you can catch many types of fish, such as cod, pollock, mackerel, plaice, ling, monkfish, and salmon. Fishing in the Hardangerfjord is a great experience, even for beginners. In Norway, you do not need a fishing licence in the fjord.

You’ll find shopping options in the small town of Rosendal or, through the tunnel on the other side, in Odda.

Fishing

There are plenty of fishing opportunities in the fjord, or you can take a motorboat out for fishing. The owner will be happy to provide you with fishing tips and an excerpt from a nautical chart.

New fishing regulations for angling in Norway: Fjordhytte-39 is registered as a specialised tourism fishing business, so when you rent this property, you are permitted to export fish from Norway.

Motorboat
