The Plöger family’s 55-square-meter holiday apartment is located in a quiet residential area of Steinfurt/Borghorst. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy, well-furnished apartment with 2 bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 1 with a single bed), a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and electric kettle, a dining area, a living room with satellite TV and a radio, and a modern bathroom with a shower and toilet. In front of the cosy living room, a large balcony invites you to relax. The family’s garden also features a patio area with a grill for your use. All rooms have hardwood floors. A telephone and Wi-Fi are available. The apartment’s residential area borders the Grottenkamp forest. From there, you can reach the Bagno Landscape Park—home to the historic concert gallery—on foot or by bike. It’s always worth a visit. Right next to Bagno Park are the golf course and the romantic Steinfurt Castle. The nearest supermarket is about 1.3 km from the holiday rental. The pedestrian zone in Steinfurt-Borghorst (about 1.5 km away) offers numerous other shops, as well as restaurants and cafés. Thanks to the nearby Grottenkamp train station, trips to Münster or the Dutch city of Enschede are easy to arrange. This holiday rental is also an excellent starting point for cyclists. From here, you can set out on many beautiful bike tours through the Münsterland region. You can choose between short loop routes through the green countryside or extended day trips to Rheine, Ahaus, or Emdetten. The region around Steinfurt has very few hills, making cycling a pleasure. Access to the Münsterland bike path network and the 100 Castles Route is only about 400 metres away.
