A perfect Sardinian getaway!

We were looking for a great Fall getaway and this home in Sardinia fit the bill perfectly. The house is on the top of a beautiful hill with gorgeous views and is designed with comfort and style in mind. It feels super-homey and warm and we spent every evening cooking, baking and playing games together. It was perfect. The house is pretty close to everything so our day trips included wonderful beachside restaurants as well as visits to the ancient olive groves, the necropoli and even a local spa for some pampering! The house is fully equipped with everything needed including plenty of linens, kitchenware and lots of hot water. The Host was very helpful and left a book full of suggestions of what to do, where to eat and even how to relax. A perfect Sardinian getaway... we will be back!

Wow, wow, wow!

When you view this property you’ll probably think wow, this looks lovely! The reality is it’s something else, it’s absolutely out of this world! Firstly Leontine the owner is so lovely, from the moment we contacted her, her help, support and knowledge was fantastic. We met Leontine at the bottom of her road and she took us up to her hideaway home, the views on the way up are breathtaking but when you reach the top and turn off the engine it’s something else! The silence is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The villa I don’t know where to start. It’s designed with passion and love. Leontine has a wonderful eye for design and that’s really what makes this home so very unique and individual. It has everything you could ever need. The home is spotlessly clean and you’ll feel the passion and love that has been put into it in abundance. The bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen are all gorgeous! Then you step outside the views are surreal, you feel like you’re on top of the highest mountain looking down the mountains change colour as the day goes by. Sunsets, sunrises & stars at night will leave you with memories to last a lifetime. We loved the outdoor space the huge dining table, hammocks and numerous sitting areas around the property. We all loved the swings too you’re never too old! Leontine has made a viewing area to watch the sunset or just to sit and take in the awesome view. The pool is perfect too with again a view to die for. Thank you so much we loved it!

Idyllische, traumhaft ruhige Lage unweit der Costa Smeralda

Pros: Das Haus und das absolut gepflegte und doch natürlich belassene Anwesen liegt mitten in den Granitfelsen im Hinterland der Costa Smeralda. Die letzten ca. 2.5 km der Anreise zeigen schon aufgrund der Beschaffenheit des Weges: Hier gehts in die Natur!:) Wir hatten schon aufgrund vorheriger Rezensionen einen SUV gemietet. Dies ist weiterhin zu empfehlen! Die Gastgeberin Leontine war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie wusste uns mit vielen Tipps zu Ausflügen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie empfehlenswerter Gastronomie in der Umgebung zu versorgen. Sie stellte uns aufgrund der etwas anspruchsvollen Anfahrt ihren Geländewagen für die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes zur Verfügung. Super Sache! Auch auf dem riesigen Grundstück in absoluter Ruhe inmitten der Natur konnte man sich ohne Probleme vom Alltag entfernen und entspannen. Es gibt viele Ecken mit Hängematten oder Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten Lesen und Planen der Tagesausflüge. Die Räume sind klimatisiert! Sehr wichtig bei 37°C!

Wir sind eine fünfköpfige Familie (Kinder zwischen 13 u 18) und sind begeistert! Das Haus ist ein Traum. Wunderschön, mit vielen stilvollen Details sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist wunderbar gelegen, mit Blick auf Felsen, der sardischen Natur und dem funkelnden Kleinstädtchen San Pantaleo in der Ferne. Der Weg rauf ist zwar sehr holperig und teilweise recht steil (gutes Auto ist empfehlenswert), aber die Stille und Ruhe und Aussicht einzigartig. Die Ausstattung im Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist ALLES da, was eine Familie für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt benötigt. Von der Yogamatte bis zur Kühltasche, von den Schnorchelbrillen bis zur Hängematte, Bastelutensilien und Gesellschaftsspielen - alles im Haus. Auch die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die sympathische Hausherrin haben wir angetroffen , sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns perfekt mit Ausflugstipps und ersten Leckereien aus Sardinien versorgt. Wir werden alle sehr gerne an zwei Wochen denken und freuen uns bereits auf ein weiteres Mal!
