Blissful Beach Days Ahead

Enjoy a beautiful, serene ocean getaway with lots of privacy on the beach in front of our condo. Vacation away from the cold and snow or spend your remote work days in our idyllic location.

Our beach condo has more than 1,000 square feet. No cramped quarters here. King bed in Main BR, Queen bed and trundle bed in second bedroom, plus a sofa sleeper in family room. Comfortably sleeps six. Kitchen is fully equipped. Granite counter top and stainless steel appliances. Large dining area with table that seats six. Cozy family room just off the ocean view patio. Two 50" flat screen TVs with HD cable. WiFi throughout. Large computer desk with office chair in Main Bedroom.

Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, etc. Pantry loaded with spices, baking supplies, vegetable and olive oils, vinegars, and more. There's a blender, coffee pot, toaster, and air fryer.

Plenty of bath towels, beach towels, and extra sheets for all beds. We have beach chairs, tent, umbrella, boogie boards, beach toys, and cart.

We have a new garage for keeping your vehicle out of the elements.

There is a no-drive, private access beach 80' from condo. Or get your tan at our private on-property swimming pool. Great restaurants nearby. Plenty of activities in this active beach community adjacent to Daytona Beach. A variety of shopping experiences including specialty shops, mall, and outlet mall.

Directions from Orlando International Airport. Take the 528 east to the 417 north to Interstate 4. Take I-4 east to Daytona Beach and merge onto I-95 north (toward Jacksonville). Exit at State Road 40, turn right (east) to the beach. At A1A take a left (north) and travel 2.7 miles and just past Oceanside Restaurant (great food) on the left will be our condo.

Coming from the north? Take I-95 south of Jacksonville and exit at State Road 40 in Ormond Beach. Take a left and head east to the beach. At A1A take a left (north) and travel 2.7 miles and on the left will be Ormond Breakers. An alternative coming from the north is to exit at Highway 100 to Flagler Beach and then take a right on A1A to Ormond Beach. This is a pretty drive that parallels the ocean.

Great location

Very nice third floor unit, beautiful ocean views from the porch. We had everything we needed to enjoy our 2 month stay. Richard is a great host. We will stay again.

Great location for a great vacation!

Although we waited until the last minute to book, the process was very easy. The homeowners went above and beyond to help us and had everything ready for an excellent vacation. The condo was super clean, roomy, and had everything we needed for the week. We hope to return soon.

The location is great. Would be even better if there were an area designated for dogs potty breaks. The owners are MARVELOUS! Best we’ve ever rented from. Condo is well stocked and the balcony view is amazing. I would recommend this unit to anyone and we will definitely be staying here again!

The condo was a perfect fit for our family. We used the kitchen to prepare our meals. It was clean and everything work just fine. We made a few trips to the town nearby, but mostly enjoyed the beach and the pool. It was quiet and relaxing. The sunrises were beautiful and the weather cooperated as well. The owners did a fantasic job to make our stay pleasant and hopefully can accomodate us again in the near future. Thank you, Richard and Jane!

Relaxing, well equipped condo

Condo is well equipped, comfortable and CLEAN. Pool very nice and well taken care of. Walkway to beach is still under construction, short walk to next access(1/2 block). No big deal. We were able to use garage for our vehicle and bicycles, a rarity with rentals! Very nice. Owners very responsive to all inquiries. Would definitely recommend to others.

New Beginning

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was perfect. Minutes from the Daytona Boardwalk. We stayed about 30 days and only cooked twice. So much to do. Loved sleeping to the sounds of ocean waves and drinking coffee in the morning watching the wages. The owners are very responsive and kind. Thank you for letting us experience a Lil bit of heaven.

Had everything we wanted and needed!

This was not our first time visiting Ormond-by-the-Sea, but it was our first VRBO experience and it was fantastic! The unit has everything that you could want, was in excellent condition, and the owners were very patient and responsive with our questions. The proximity to the beach is exactly what we were looking for (50 yards to the sand from the property with only modest AIA traffic to navigate). The unit's balcony view was the perfect way to start the day with coffee, check the surf throughout the day, and enjoy a cocktail in the breeze in the evening. The pool and courtyard area is very nice, and our limited interaction with other owners/visitors on the property was always friendly but not intrusive. Great place to stay, unwind, enjoy the beach, and only a short drive (or bike ride) to restaurants and attractions. Parking on the property is a little tight, but worked out fine for us with a hatchback-sized car. A minivan or SUV or larger vehicle would take more coordination to park each day. We will definitely look to return!

Beautiful area

Definitely going to rent a condo again from Ormond Breakers. The view from my 3rd story balcony was beautiful, even seen dolphins the first day. Can't say I ever sat in the house once except to sleep. The host was very accommodating and had everything we needed in the condo! The maintenance man Bob was up every morning cleaning and keeping everything well organized! Thank you to the Hoffman's for the wonderful stay!

Comfortable place to be

The condo was in a prime location, could see jthe ocean from our terrace, very well appointed, with everything you needed, spices condiments cleaning supply, restaurants and tourists informations. The owner was always available, the condo compless well maintained and clean. The beach was clean, clear water and plenty of shell to pick. You could bring the dog. The pool well maintained and with comfortable lounges to relax.The weather was not cooperating at the beginning but we had plenty of books available to read and great TV package. All in all a very good experience

Great apartment located across the street from a beautiful beach

We were looking to stay at the beach in a quiet and small community and we got more than we expected. Firstly, the beach was amazing! We are lifetime Floridians and beach lovers so we are quite picky when it comes to beaches. We didn't want crowds or a large building that makes access to the beach complicated. The beach here was super easy to get to, very clean, the water was crystal clear and the only people on the beach were just a few families from the neighboring community. There IS NO PUBLIC PARKING nearby which makes for a nice, quiet beach. Secondly, the apartment is clean, spacious, well decorated (yet not stuffy) and completely equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated having all tile floors (we did not like carpet at the beach!), a large and updated kitchen, lots of seating at the dining table and the living areas and well appointed bathrooms with lots of towels ! We comfortably slept 5 people. In addition, the view of the ocean from the balcony was beautiful. The building was very well maintained and the neighbors were friendly. It was very helpful to have a garage downstairs to put all of our beach gear at the end of the day without having to drag it upstairs. The only downfall was the fact that our truck (Ford F-150 4 door) did not fit in the garage and guest parking was challenging. It was only a problem the day we arrived as there was no parking, so we had to park illegally until a space opened up an hour later. Overall, we had a great experience in this rental. We have stayed at many vacation rentals, however we rarely feel like we would return. We felt right at home here and we do plan to return.

perfect vacation

the view was extremely beautiful, the whole condominium was very well kept everyone was very welcoming and it really felt like a home away from home. there is no other I would have wanted to spend my vacation, being able to cook at home meals and eat dinner with my family. Wonderful place, clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. Great view of the beach from the balcony. The pool was never overly crowded, the people there were quiet but friendly, no loud parties late at night. The beach was close, just be careful crossing the road! I had almost given up on finding a condo to rent for a week at the beach. I found this property on home away and was very pleased. The condo is lovely. Jane and her husband make sure you have everything you need for your vacation. They are very nice and keep you updated and taken care of. I have never been to a condo before that made sure to have things like spices, coffee and even beach necessities for you. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The price, hospitality, and the wonderful condo itself makes this a place I would recommend to anyone and will definitely return to. Thank you so much for the wonderful time and memories.

Very nice property and location

We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend it to others without hesitation. The property was steps away to the ocean, and we were able to enjoy sunset and sunrise walks on the beach. Both the beach and pool were never crowded during our stay. The interior of the condo was clean and nicely decorated/updated. The owner was easy to contact and answered all of our questions. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! :)

We had a great time staying here. The condo was clean and well taken care of. The ocean view from the deck was beautiful and the first thing I would go do when I woke up in the mornings. A couple of the mornings on the deck we got to watch dolphins swim by which was exciting to see. The condo is just minutes away from many restaurants and gift shops and many other things to do. I would recommend this condo to anyone!

WONDERFUL STAY

We found the property to be very clean, well appointed and well stocked. The kitchen has been renovated with beautiful granite counters, new appliances and plenty of dishes and glassware. The bedrooms both had great mattresses and plenty of storage. The newly done shower in the master has the best shower head and nice tile work. If I could get the same time slot I would stay there again. We were there for 36 days and enjoyed the beach across the street as well as the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Close to the tennis center for me and markets. If you are thinking about this place, think no more and enjoy. Had a slight problem with the garage door opener but everything else was great.

The condo was very homely and very well equipped, there was everything you could possibly think of. Location is great, not too far from anywhere and plenty of restaurants near by. The shower in the master bedroom was the best shower ever, it was like getting a shower and a massage at the same time, however, we did find the hot water didn't last long enough for both of us to have a shower one after the other. We would definitely come back again

We grew up in the Upper Midwest and moved to Florida in 1985 because we love warm weather (and sunshine!). Going to the beach was a special treat for the family. So when the opportunity presented itself, we purchased our lovely beach condo, now going to the beach is just a few feet away.

Why they chose this property

We love Ormond Beach and if you stay at our condo, you will know why it's popular, especially for longer term renters. The complex is not too large and has a homey feel to it. The property is well kept and has a lovely pool. There is a great view of the ocean from our patio. The complex has private access to the beach and you'll love taking a walk and watching nature including dolphins, pelicans, osprey, and crabs. Surf boarding, body surfing, or just playing in the water, there's lots of fun. And since no driving is allowed on this beach it's safe for everyone. We enjoy regularly updating our vacation home. We hope you might make it your special place too.
